I was just going to ask if it has added value. I guess that’s answered by whoever buys if/when these items are up for sale.
I for one find these things far more attractive for the unusual story behind them. I would gladly pay more for them. How much more would depend on what is perceived as fair/ going rate

I have a 2017 Pistrucci Anniversary Strike on the Day Sov. The CoA says it's a Proof. It's graded by PCGS as a Proof. However both are errors - the Mint had to (try to) recall all the incorrect 'proof' CoAs and the grading companies had to be told it wasn't a proof (even though it looks just like one).
I don't know if it's just because I have it, but this is one coin where I think the CoA (along with the grading) tells an interesting story and may add a little value (?).

Occam's Razor definitely works for simple things and personal situations, but it would seem to me that the bigger the sandbox, the greater the possibilities and the more challenges to explain or discover solutions. Just like Newtonian physics applies to everything that is familiar but does not often apply to the subatomic. The greater the variables, the less useful it is. Even reason has it limits.
Besides being the change I want to see in the world? I have a few ideas that I am working toward, but for now I am keeping them to myself.

I started waking up to this stuff in 2006. Before then I was fully invested in the lie, so I understand all of the people that want to avoid the truth at all costs. I was one of them. Because it's all so much simpler to believe what you're spoon-fed instead of doing real research which requires exploring all arguments and then picking them apart and reconstructing them one by one. I can't help but come to the conclusion that we've been lied to for a very long time, not just 2001, but 1913. Not just 1913, but perhaps for thousands of years.

Yes, in my opinion, dare I say, everything has been weaponized against we the people who have a basic inherent right to prosper and live free from slavery/usury.
The war of words is poisoning many minds who cant see the implications or how they are manipulated to an end that doesn't suit their short or long term interests. Double Speak is everywhere.

I've come to see that nothing in the world is by a completely natural occurrence or means, except for nature where un-corrupted or unpolluted, in other words everything is controlled by a hidden hand for a hidden purpose or agenda that you pay for and are coerced deceptively to be part of but are not privy to the truth, unless you can figure it out for yourself. As an aside, I think that's why a lot of us were attracted to silver. I basically trust a 180 deg flip of what spin narrative were fed in the mainstream is more likely the truth.

False balances are more popular than ever, and so are corporate and global government/currency/reset/green new BS deals etc. and excused with bogus agendas like Covid to kick it off, eg. The magic word to be a cover for any nonsense not normally acceptable, and quacks and scientists lost every idea about morality look at CERN and their new particle beam that they are sending into space WTF, these vaccine forcing and spin doctoring going on in mind boggling and in every country, they are all in on this agenda and whatever you believe I bet you see the motives are not good and based on control.

The world has become a mess and 2001 was the major turning point, things looking forward from here 2021 don't look pretty, we must remain hopeful but do what we can to bring change that actually suits the people. The Silver Squeeze Redit group for example has made waves and this is a great example at how we can unite together for a cause.
We will lose more rights if we do nothing. And what gives in the end, I believe evil will destroy evil, but a huge toll will be paid for our iniquities for being misled and giving our posterity away for a bowl of porridge today, like the historical story of Esau.

We all play a part in the emerging world and we all have an opportunity to make it a better place for those who come after us. Thank you too for your angle ScentSation

This dialogue was interesting. Some of my thoughts are that JPM is nothing more than a puppet for a emerging power, a New World Order if you like. If they intend to transition to a one world digital currency which I believe is their plan, then they do not want the fact silver is such a raving good buy and has been suppressed for a very long time, they don't want that cat out of the bag, so unless the short squeeze by physical believers can outrun their manipulation, I'd be expecting the manipulation to continue and even become more entrenched. The fact they can get away with it tells me it's a far bigger agenda way above JPM, Billy Goats, and all the other demons without any moral compass. This financial terrorism is the emerging Totalitarian Communism regime, and so is the Socialism that will always lead to said Communism, as Vladimir Lenin was quoted. Like in Revelation, the beast made war with the saints for a time, but eventually evil destroys evil, and good prospers. But my addage is, not if good people don't stand and uphold the righteous morality. Financial morality is getting away from fake money in every way, as they can't control metals in the long run and if every last oz is bought up by the righteous people, and we form our own system of trade and settlement, then there would be no support for the existence of these demonic parasites. That's why everything is regulated to hell in this current system so you and I can't bypass these rotten scoundrels and their sick evil agendas.

I guess the balance and order sheet says everything, in this case a picture can give a false impression when you consider all the demand worldwide and locally how much silver does that take, and then what's left in the vaults in reserve every week.

besides the trust in the BTC market I agree with the author of this videos opinions about what is happening in the silver market, particularly with the lack of continuity with money supply v's fiat price value of the metal, and the logical reasons for that lack of logic in the markets v's other commodities. The only logical reason is deception and corruption and monopolization of control over the physical metals for the building bull market. Definitely the tremors of an emerging bull market in my opinion.

This guy is worth following, very reasonable I think. He references Perth Mint and says they are rationing silver out which is true. Is this so the smart/evil money can take delivery and drain the physical market to front run the emerging bull?

For 795€ you could buy 2 10oz Queen's Beasts White Horse coins (309 each at GSBe) and have 177€ left over to buy another 5oz or so of bullion silver coins. Will those 25oz of silver be worth more than the 10oz Beskar coin-bar in a couple of years? Who knows?

Love this thread! What do people think about grading the CoA!? Not something I have ever done but I have seen a few for the V75 US releases.......
In answer to the general question, I love a ‘good’ CoA, and it doesn’t need to be low. A high one too! I have 172 for the 10oz Three Graces (out of 175!) and 250 for the 5oz (they minted 500). I was personally really happy with those!! I saw that Backyard Bullion got a 001 CoA for a platinum release (I think it was the 1/4oz 2020 Britannia). I think he made a good amount selling it on...people definitely like them!!
I have to admit that when I first open a package the CoA is probably the first thing I look at - just to see if there are any quirks or specific numbers of interest. I then lock the door, sit down with the coin and tell my wife I am looking at pornography. She knows what I am really doing...

I started in 2017. I should have done a lot better because 'buy gold and silver' came to me as a moment of 'inspiration' in 2016. I can't look at the prices in that time I waited before starting, it's painful!
Yes, absolutely, I understand your thinking/intent I would buy basic cheapest bullion right now (from trusted sellers on here, no ebay), or nicer coins at a very small premium. For now in the UK anything that is CGT free (although if there's a dramatic shift in price I suspect they'll stop that).
Imvho £28 an ounce (hopefully of course you'll be able to get it cheaper - and looking at the trade section on here you can, just stick with well-established traders and still check your silver, anyone can make a mistake) will be a good investment (or at the very least a store of some of your wealth) in the medium/long-term.

Some great posts on here and this is just one snippet from many.
I have some semi-numismatic (even some faddish coins, some of which I regret a bit) and when silver first spiked their premium was initially largely retained. I believed that it was time to sell them all and buy bullion instead, but alas circumstances didn't allow me to.
Now there seems to be a 'squeeze' where the some of the premium coins (many of the more popular ones especially) are not even approaching the premiums they should be over basic bullion (I fully understand why). So I'm just sitting tight and hoping for a repeat that I will be able to take advantage of. It may well not come again, but I'm lucky in that almost all premium coins I bought are offset by tubes at less than £15 a coin (my best deal being £12.50 posted from Europe to England, and then by a friend on to me). Pretty much at current prices (and I don't expect significant pullbacks in future) all my premium coins are covered cost-wise.
So, although I could be sitting on more, I'm very thankful. Again I'm not saying it'll repeat but even the coins and bars I bought in the UK with VAT before I found the Silver Forum are looking cheap now.

You are a lucky example, even could be better theoretically, because you have started your stack long time ago. For you already worked hard the spot price advantage to keep strong your investment, keeping your average price per oz at a low level.
But I am thinking about a lot of new stackers who started this game at the end of 2020, when the boom happened. They started buying at £28-35 per oz and they need long time from now to wait until it is possible a decent profit.

VAT on silver in Germany is actually 19% ( I think ) but the bullion dealers manage to invoke the differential VAT loophole meaning VAT is minimal or absorbed in the premium of the coin, but not possible with bars.
Same in Austria and Belgium and maybe some other EU countries.
We in the UK have to pay an additional VAT of 20% on top because none of our dealers seem willing to follow those in the EU.
When we were in the EU we still paid 20% VAT so this isn't anything to do with silver ( and platinum ) being industrial metals it is all about using / not using the tools available to lower VAT. Industrial users are unaffected as they recover the VAT in their businesses.
Silver is described still as a precious metal rather than an industrial metal so another reason to work the differential VAT scheme here.

I've stopped stacking silver  at just shy of 2000 Toz (inc. collections)  but that was due to Brexit/TAX. I've added 2 Toz in sovereigns to my gold stack and a further 1.75 Toz in semi-numi collectables too. When my current series are complete i will be stopping the silver completely except the Perth mint lunars, kooks, wedgetail eagles.
I find that silver is something that i prefer the look of but like Platinum more and more when i can get it.

    Hi, @Bigmarc,
I believe the real potential of silver is in spot price, not in premium. So, now I am stacking only low premium silver, very easy to sell near spot price (1000g,  500g bars, old british currency, and scrap ). I sold already all high premium coins and I've converted all in sovereigns and another silver low premium.
Why? Because in next future the industrial demand will generate a rise in spot price and my stack's value will increase and I will do profit only waiting. The shiny silver coins ( now at spot + 60-95% ) will lose from their high premium when the spot price will be high. The market demand will be for cheap silver, not for expensive coins.
I can't understand why people are interested to pay now for a silver 1oz coin £28 - £35, equivalent at £18.42 spot price + 52% to +95% premium, when the same metal can be bought easy at 0 to 30% premium in a different shape. I am not talking about numismatic or collectible products. This is another story, I don't know this game, I am talking only about pure stacking.
About quantity... Depends on your style of life, your age, your plan of retirement, depends on what you want to give to next generation. But a minimum one is around 15kg silver and equal value in low premium gold in your stack.
This is my opinion, I am not a guru in PM, but I prefer to stay safe, speculating only the spot price and ignoring high premium products.

Let's imagine a scenario, using today's spot price £18.42/oz silver and a future potential spot price x2.5 = £46.05/oz silver.

John bought today from a dealer 1 kg bar, paying £790.62, VAT and shipping included. This is £24.58/oz, +34% premium.
Jane bought today 32oz (app.1 kg) silver Royal Arms and she paid £1129, VAT and shipping included. This is £35.28/oz, +91.5 premium.
After few years, the spot price is £46.05/oz = £1480.7/kg and it is time to sell.
John will sell quick 5% over spot, having in hand £1554.7. His pure profit is £764/kg.
Jane will struggle to sell at 30% over spot, but because the spot is so high, she will accept finally only 10% over spot, having in hand £1628.7. Her pure profit is only £499/kg.
It is a difference of £265/kg between John and Jane. If the stack is 15kg, the difference is £3975.

But let's talk about Bob. He bought today 1kg scrap silver at spot price. He paid £592. He sold his silver in the same day as John and Jane at spot price, having in hand £1480.7. His pure profit is £888.5.
    Position in this game:
    1. Bob:   £888.5 profit/kg;
    2. John: £764 profit/kg;
    3. Jane: £499 profit/kg.

This is rough, because in reality, Bob was able to buy more scrap than John and Jane, using the same money.
If we are talking about the same money invested, the difference is huge.

Let's compare now only Bob and Jane, to be more visible this difference.
Jane paid £1129/kg for Royal Arms and Bob used the same money, buying 1.9kg scrap silver.
Jane is selling after years at £1628.7 with profit £499.
Bob is selling after years at £2813.3 with profit £1684, with a difference between them of £1185.
If the stack is 15kg, the difference of profit between Bob and Jane is £17775.

This is the reason I am trusting in spot price, not in premiums.
I hope my explanation was clear enough for all new stackers. I know, it is difficult to see the real potential of scrap. But from scrap to treasure it is only a little step.😊 When you will see here scrap silver at spot price, do not hesitate and buy quick!😁
    Happy stacking, guys, happy stacking!
    Stefan.
