I had to drop some new items off at safe deposit box yesterday, so took my camera along to finally see my gold stack together - viewing room table wasn't big enough to get everything into one shot  For someone who could never hold onto money in his 20s I think Ive done OK

Don't think I've ever posted on this thread, but felt I had to in this instance - didn't strictly receive them today (actually yesterday!) but wanted to thank the members responsible for supplying the final 5 x 1oz Silver 2021 Britannias to complete my first Full Tube! 😁 🎉
So a big thank you to @arphethean & @SilverDrum for 3 & 2 Brits respectively 😊
...and I already have a couple of empty tubes standing by to start again! 😏

These fantastic coins arrived through my door at 0830 this morning, less than 16 hours after @matt1r posted them. A birthday gift for a friend who was schooled in France in the 60’s. Super happy. Silver once again comes to the rescue.

2021 35th Anniversary Gold Proof 1oz Nugget & Minions   With an absurdly low mintage of just 100, the opportunity to pay spot+1% for a proof 1oz coin with a recognised pedigree was somewhat of a "no-brainer".    Many thanks to @James32 who also provided the two 1/4 proof Nuggets (mintage 300) at an excellent price.   My only qualm is that the Perth MInt's idea of "proof" is somewhat inferior to that of the RAM - Betty's complexion on all these coins seems to be on a par with the surface of the nugget.

I really think you answered your own question here, you want to sell the coin but there is no buzz around it, but you want more than what you paid and that is going to be very unachievable so I only see 2 options for you.
1. Sell at a loss that you are not going to be happy with or
2. Hold for the long term and hope the series picks up and someone wants it down the line that missed out and is willing to pay over the odds.
Many have fallen foul of this RM tactic in the past I've done the same with some SP 50p proofs but we live and learn.

Australian Refugees Find New Home   Many thanks to @arshimo2012 for the 2021 1/4oz gold proof anniversary Nuggets. With a mintage of just 300 these look like a pretty decent investment...especially at a smidge over spot.   I must also extend my thanks to rum-runner @jultorsk for smuggling in this year's silver Koala and, more importantly, the latest proof and frostie RAM roos - the 66th and 67th latest members of this ongoing (complete) collection.
