Been a loooong while since I bothered with the RM…years in fact….but snaffled a 5oz silver just to have a ticket for the ride….got a feeling the gold will do well but not sure about the silver. Anyway, got a ticket and worst case scenario, will have a pretty design to look at as a door stopper.
I managed to get a 5oz silver as well. Nice looking coin.

The world’s first “flying coin” has been created by the Mint of Poland (Mennica Polska), the maker of Poland’s own official currency.
The coin is set in motion by a motor hidden inside it. A magnetic field generated between the motor and the specially designed base below then causes it to float in the air:

You ever been to a football match in the 80's? Flying coins were commonplace.

His coronation was during Mercury retrograde. His reign will be short.
Compared to QE2, every reign regardless who is on the throne will be short.

Ahh! I see it's a coin minted for Gibraltar, I didn't spot that bit because they partially obscured the legend in the original graphic. But that's fantastic I do like some of the Gibraltar minted coins. The proofwork looks beautiful with that half-crown. Did it come in a nice box? 😆
I can't remember how it came to be honest. Ones like this usually come in a carded collection where you add the next coin in the series. I've ordered a few in the past of previous series but never followed up with them.

I have seen some vids from the US with People bartering with silver coins in certain states it looks very promising.
I haven't tried bartering with silver but I'm sure the same mechanic would be interested in doing a deal at some point.
Guess the quantity, and maybe win a prize 😀
