The biggest problem with all of this is that the Royal Mint is trading off their trusted brand status. People don't question when they don't know because they trust the royal mint.

Unfortunately the Royal Mint knows it.

I mean, its overpriced for the condition and you are paying a lot for a box.

Just like countless other over optimistic coin dealers out there that do not have the best of reputations when it comes to selling coins to the public. 

I don't feel this is outrageous enough to make a Royally Screwed video, but its not a good look for sure.

You literally linked your sales thread in the first post.

There is a 3 day lag for standard members on sales posts but not for discussion posts. 

It's not fair to a) other sellers and b) paid members that get access to the trade section immediately.

Just have a quick read of the forum rules is all people are saying.

Yeah, their assests on companies house show they have basically no stock on hand.

I know this is probably more banter than anything, but I have checked all the timestamps and the sale was agreed with me before you placed your bid, not by a few minutes either, was a good 30 mins before when the sale was agreed and a few hours before when we started negotiations.

I saw it when it was originally listed for sale as a BIN. I had contacted the seller about it at the time of the BIN with a backup offer of £3525. 

Subsequently the seller and I then agreed the sale. Having read this thread I think it would have been a case of just get it sold and thats exactly what we did.
