I didn't actually technically receive this, but... I went for a walk (local) with my dad and his dog today and we chatted for a while. He quite likes silver himself, in fact I got into it through him. On last weeks walk we got chatting about the Una & the Lion craziness. Today when we got back to his (I didn't go in, stood at the conservatory door with my mask on!) he said he had something to show me, then he produced this. Sorry about the photos but it was the best I could manage under the circumstances.

1kg proof. Gobsmacked. The most beautiful silver I have ever seen, let alone held. Great day!

One of my favourite £5 designs along with the 2015 LRM coin. Difficult to get a 70 grade with the LRM, often issues with the frosting on the crown. 

Firstly, i've shed a fair bit of Gold weight lately to make way for a very special purchase and I would like to extend thanks to all the forum members who purchased coins from me to make it possible.  You know who you are, and it was very much appreciated 😀 
And secondly, and once again, thank you very much for all the effort, time and patience! That @SilverMike, @Roy & @Elements provided, in terms of helping to guide me into making this fantastic acquisition 👍😃

Just before Xmas got myself a couple of 1kg bars. I really like the cast bars and I was hoping to get a couple but these were the ones I ended up ordering and really happy with them! If you're looking for silver bars definitely consider these. (and a T rex coin in the background because why not)

Gradually adding to it for long, long term savings

Received these back today. First time getting grading done. Really happy with the results. This grading business is a bit addictive. I was like a kid in candy store when I got them. Lol

It always has been, try selling a wedding ring back to a diamond dealer and you find the spread is eye watering.
I suspect you lose more money buying a wedding ring than you do buying a brand new car.
Although gold is not perfect as a commodity it's a much better way to store your wealth.
As to the risks of large deposits coming onto the market, it's still possible for a mining company to strike it lucky and find a huge deposit.
Although mining asteroids sounds great, I'm not sure they'll be looking specifically for gold, maybe something nuclear related and lighter to transport back to earth.

I see forum members are selling 1oz bullion Britannias for £100 over spot price plus postage .
 at £50 over spot price including postage from a reputable dealer In Hatton garden during a national lockdown for this £5 sovereign , I cant complain about the condition of the coin  , I don't care if he used it for a game of shove or as an arshole plug on his wife , it's a bargain mate .

Just notified of the latest gradings from Ngc 🙌. A full special reverse year set 2002 in pf70. Pics below, others to follow tomorrow. Enjoy

A lot of beautiful coins to show but I have been lazy with my camera these last weeks. However, here is the last one I have done with the James Bond Special Issue. Very difficult coin to highlight with its lack of nuances.  It often appears flat in the pictures and I have tried to do my best  
 

Heirloom status! Achieved the P(er)F(ect)70 grade. One I will pass onto my kids and stay in the family for sure

I think this is a cracking little release. The OMP makes them difficult to photograph and makes it hard to show off just how stunning these are, but I've no intention of cutting them open!

I've been on the lookout for a British trade dollar for a good while now... no idea if this was a reasonable purchase but picked up the lot anyway. 
(This is the most expensive silver for me so far) 😬
