Someone on here bought one of those 0.5g coins from that place (maybe a month or so ago?) I thought it looked quite reasonable for the price, as long as you manage not to accidentally fold it in half by looking at it too hard 😀

Indeed. I did some research on the coins. They are made by a company in Croatia. They are ordered like this. So you can order coins with different motives. So this just landed in this shop by random. The story behind the coins is actually cool.

Attractively designed (and packaged!) 8g 999 Silver 2020 LNY Commemorative Coin . . . it’s of course not LNY 2020, but these are still widely available locally - of course at a substantial premium, but I have a use for them 

It is our current understanding that VAT must be charged on applicable EU orders.

However... I'm delighted to confirm our current platinum stock is technically pre-owned (even though it's brand new) and therefore doesn't have VAT on it. It's very keenly priced, an ideal Pt investment.

As for EU customers purchasing e.g. platinum coins which are normally subject to VAT - wouldn't it be possible to zero-rate such goods when shipped to EU?

Good deal! Shame it doesn’t deduct VAT when shipping outside the EU or else it would be an even better deal! 😂
