For around a grand (depending on model) it's money well spent. Quite a few private collectors have them even. The more vigilant we are as buyers and sellers the more counterfeits can be taken out of the market.

Have you contacted the seller? If it was a recent purchase then it's perhaps possible to get a refund but if it was months or years ago it might be more complicated
