Shill bidding is so rife in all forms of auctions i still feel the real prices are sales here - last 2oz silver sold for £600

If you can find a special moment, the brochure with the coin is one of the most informative points of interest about a coin and the designer I have ever read. The Gothic Crown is an exceptional package from the Royal Mint. My example will always be treasured.
Fully Agree, I will be keeping mine long term.

Got mine, really please looks like a perfect coin to me! these new caps I have not seen, how to open these safely?
-
eBay sales should be discarded, to easy to fake, likewise with well known coin auctions - too easy to shill bid. (get your buddy to pay obscene amount for your coin - pay the commission, then you have set the precedence for the next real sale (or thats the idea)
I would say the true value is what someone sell the coins for on this forum.

due tomorrow:) i really hope the caps are secure on these!

Glad to have got something (hope I just didn’t jinx it 😬).
I did precisely the same thing! got the single canceled though.

Same here, still have a four coin set in open orders.

I ended up securing the 2oz silver and the pre order for the portrait 2oz. Wanted gold but very pleased to have finally bagged something after disappointment last year.
Quite the day, was also doing royal mail online training and had 2 customer service calls going at one point!
The royal mint was pretty unclear what was what, ended up ordering both a single coin and the two coins with one now one pre order thinking they were each different - then spent an hour on the phone getting the single canceled.
Time for a relax before my first day on the job delivering mail in storm barra😂

queue just isnt moving, how disappointing, well done to all who secured something.
-
im stuck on same number 😕

this queue going sooo slow...

At this ungodly hour it's understandable 😀

I think it wont fail -, however the three graces has clearly trended down in price from the UNA with a NGC PF70 coin available for pretty much half a una. Plus there is two coins now? Its not as guaranteed as it was.. One thing is for sure tomorrow will be a mad rush with thousands of disappointed people.

Welcome!

I have a meeting which begins at 0930 I can't get out of, I was a bit worried about being caught in the queue and missing my place....then I remembered it will be sold out 29 minutes before then anyway so nothing to worry about
Same thing! start a new job as a postie monday! luckily its an online induction i start at 9.30 am.

Going for whatever I can get my hands on, 10k credit waiting - couldn't get a thing last year and will probably give up trying if I cant secure anything this year.
Who am i kidding il always try - I have said from the start though the gothic crown is the one i care most about as its my all time fav design.

I think it was a good price but also a pretty fair market value:)
That ones still available at £650 so for now the price level has been found (even if only briefly)
I will gaze lovingly at that coin before it goes, its something special for sure. That said i am saving for a house deposit so have to try and not get sentimental.
For sure, I value that and am willing to make sure the deal is competitive for the peace of mind:)
