More Una Libras acquired today, two are worthy of additional comment🤔!
The 1915 below has no assayer mark (which would usually lye to the right hand side of the date). When graded by NGC, this will be the first and only one in the registry.
The only 1915 graded by NGC has the assayer mark PVG.

According to Numista, other assayer marks for 1915 exist :- PMGG and PVH but none have ever been graded..these coins are so rare, which make the hunt for them even more enjoyable😀. (Mintage for this year is unknown)

The 1907 below also has an unknown mintage, but as four have been graded by NGC, may well be a higher mintage than the 1915 above.

If at first you don’t succeed ...it would appear the ‘7’ in the date has been struck twice as has the ‘G’ in the assayer legend.

Just back from NGC the 1915 from above...and as predicted it is one of one.

Back from NGC this week, some welcome additions to my date run of Peruvian Una Libras. The 1915 could be an extremely rare find...why.?..see here https://www.thesilverforum.com/topic/27054-gold-coins-of-south-america/page/2/

Ok, so I didn't just receive this, but I can't help showing it off considering the latest posts.
It's one of the few things I ever bought for the design rather than the gold content - though I also absolutely love that it's got exactly 15g of gold in it and says so in plain English (well, Spanish) almost like it's a copper capsule to protect the gold.
For me, a non-collector, there are only two superior coins. Mexican 50 Pesos and Peruvian 100 Soles de Oro.

Something a little different from the norm. A chain of Thai gold (96.5 purity) and weighing three baht; that’s 45.73 grammes. The weight is the chain only.
