Getting in there early 🧐

Didn't have any success buying them all for £0.01 though

They are rather late with their page.

Could they be copying a well-known Blackpool dealer?

You're obviously sourcing from the same supplier...

Took a look at the "Tails - Designs on the Reverse of British Sovereigns" page - very informative!

Presume you'll be adding this years Reverse soon too? 🤔

... and on the subject of 2023's Sovereign, any ideas as to when it is likely to be announced / released @LawrenceChard ?

and 2017!

2023s -probably similar dates to the 2022 releases, for both uncs and proofs.

I'm already thinking ahead to the 2024s.

Ooh yes - the 2017 - Was that another Proof Only year 🤔 like 1989?

And sorry to sound like a complete n00b (mainly because I am when it comes to Sovereigns) - when was the 2022 released?

No, https://www.chards.co.uk/2017-gold-sovereign-elizabeth-ii-unc/845

2022 release dates - I have forgotten, but loads of people on TSF will know.

@ChardsCoinandBullionDealer should have a blog / info / calendar page with typical or historic release dates. It might happen!

Was it the proof or bullion 2022s issued in late 2021?, or both?

@Scootermuppet needs to know month, date, and time of day!

I only know my order dates... Proofs on 15th Nov 2021 and bullion (good old H&B) on 8th Dec... both early in th day! :)

Interesting... ok...  🤔

And what did you have for breakfast before you ordered? ooh, and was it raining at all?

That's crazy, they haven't even finished releasing the 2022's yet, aren't we due another SOTD and a normal issue proof piedfort?

For the 2023 sovereign my money would be a pimped up privy proof and normal issue bullion, they'll just keep it to the standard format they have been following recently.

Unfortunately, yes, so they will probably be that awful pink / red / rose coppery colour.

I might ask can we make our own gold coloured ones, but I suspect I already know the answer!
