"Unopened" but upside down in the capsule. Oh and £14,500 overpriced.

Whats the Harrington and Byrne coin wallet got to do with it on one of the pics?  All very odd.

Someone can always buy his £2 for about £5k, now that is a bargain - it really is - compared to a quarter sov for £20k😁

Now that you said it... there was a Victorian experimental 1/4 sov which for sure will fetch £20k

Probably repeating someone on here, but are these stupidly priced things just a cover for something else as there can’t really be people out there stupid enough to actually buy these things?😮🤔

Sometimes sellers use them as placeholders to take advantage of fee offers. So if you get 100 or 1000 free listings with reduced fees but you can only use them one weekend every fortnight, well, you can create 100 or 1000 listings on that weekend and set moonbeam prices. When you actually want to use that listing (get new stock, etc) you can go back and edit the moonbeam listing. eBay discourages such practices and there are rules about price gouging, unrealistic prices, fee dodging, replicas, etc, but, yea, it's eBay

There's also collusion, tax efficiencies, frauds and so on taking place between multiple parties with unrealistic pricing strategies

Take a look at the NFT that sold for $69.3 million. It was a huge fraud, a PR stunt to show the market people were willing to pay that much for digital art. After this sale there were several other high profile sales. When the wider market/average person gets involved then the rug is pulled. The money used to inflate the high prices paid is circular - it's all coming from the same source and everybody involved in the early transactions are part of the same circle. The "money" used in all these cases was crypto, not cash, and you can use crypto (indirectly) these days on eBay so, yea, sometimes complicated frauds, sometimes simple frauds and the odd time even a genuine mistake!

Mind is primary and mass-energy is derivative

Well this doesn’t happen often for eBay , I ordered some Land Rover copy mud flaps for my car off eBay as I was not going to pay £150+ for a set at the main dealer.  I took a punt and got some off eBay for £20. They are original land rover parts!  they have the original part numbers and the have attempted to file off the Land Rover badge.

I’m gonna complain to I the seller I ordered copies not originals 🤣

Did you buy them off a scouser? We had a lad at our regiment who was a scouser used to nick everything. Even nicked his bosses rare red walled mountain bike tyres, he was that thick he put them on his bike and was cycling round camp with them on and still denied he nicked them! He was thick as mince.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.
