What would you swap for 100g's of silver?

Recommended Posts

A recent thread on here discussing cuban cigars and I noticed a few people offering to swap 1oz of silver for a stogy! So was wondering,  what you would swap for 100g's of silver...and it can't be another PM????

Could open some bargaining........

I think the most logical thing would be gold, cigars, whiskey,  these have intrinsic value like silver.

Unlike fiat currencies with no intrinsic value, usually used to buy consumables or items made from raw materials with only added value.

I can't think of anything readily, if something only cost about £100 and I wanted it I'd buy it!

So, all that comes to mind is a book no longer in print, although I mostly only read biographies.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.

I would like to try ludicrous mode in the Tesla. 0 to 60 in 2.6 seconds. With the cigar thing. It's not the cost of the cigar, it's the recommendation of something different.

It will be a little outdated when the Plaid arrives.
