It's a really nice coin. Doesn't look polished from your photos alone!

I think the obverse has been polished but not the reverse that I can tell.

Patience is a virtue, Today I bought 25 beautiful Perth Mint coins. I will be expecting 25 x 1oz Silver Kangaroo's when delivered next month frm StG. £12.04 per coin. Will focus on those specifically for a while as first year issues are interesting.

Just pre-ordered 20 them new silver roos from STG.

They ship on 25 September.

I'm just gonna get rolls from now on. Can't be arsed buying in dribs and drabs.

The Fed sent out someone to declare that interest rates are less likely to rise next month. Couldn't they wait until I had been paid. I might give it a week now before I buy and see what happens in China. The next Fed market saving statement may have to be regarding more QE.

Agree on full rolls but I have some empties to fill too.

@Cointreau Arent the roos in 25s?  They may well send you a tube anyway or you could order 5 more before then.

Today, from a local cash for gold shop, I picked up a bullion 2004 Sovereign. Paid £185.

A few quid over what I'd want to pay, but I believe the mintage for bullion sovs in this year are very low, only 30,688.

I'm sure @sovereignsteve will confirm this for me

One, if not the, lowest mintage. I'd love one.

Probably not the rarest, but that's just conjecture.

Nice haul.

Stacker since 2013

A 1908 Indian Head gold $5. Been after one for a while, so time well spent on the Bay today. More expensive than a sovereign based on fine weight, but such a nice design. Around £295 delivered to US. Will pick up in a few weeks.
