It sadly doesnt work that easily - the texture of the silver on the sides would be too deep to sand effectively. That and the texture of the sides is part of the beauty!

give it to me i will do it for you / pour a new one bigger than 1 kg and i will make it shiny for you  

i may even give you the sanding scraps back for recycling

Nearly all trains cancelled to Euston tomorrow grrrr. Had to cancel my booking & pay double to go on same outward train but 30 mins earlier back train. Crazy that they couldn't just change my return time. The lady said ask at the station on the way back & they may allow me onto the earlier train...... good ploy to scare me into paying double

What a con for you. They should have sold you a ticket to all London stations then you would have had other alternatives
