    Gold una up at 8999!
I dont have a spare 9 grand, even if i did i would not bite.
Looks like 10 available in first batch before price rises.
Im sure these will be 12 grand a pop soon, but im not a collector enough to pay that and from a resale potential im not sold on the idea - regardless of how well una and the lion did, that was royal mint not Alderney. Will these be exchanging hands for 20 grand plus soon? I really cant see it.
No doubt a stunning coin and good luck to those who do decide to buy.

For all those waiting for Monday for a possible release of Three Graces, not happening. A special edition of the 50th Anniversary of Decimalisation SOTD is due for release.  RM won’t be releasing that and the graces on the same day.

With a mintage of 700, does anyone think it’s worth purchasing the 50p at a cost for roughly £1200?

Interesting, after the ebay sales figured 1750 would be the low from BCC.

On another (hopefully similar subject).. I just got a mail saying the 2020 Three Graces 3 Coin set is available again... up by £200 from 1299 to 1499... which isn't as dramatic as the 2ozSilver one
  13. Thanks

They want to make long term profits and attract long term collectors. I think it's clear grading coins like this really wouldn't do them any favours, if they grade part of them people then loose trust in the others and if they grade them all they are enforcing a huge premium on people and removing the fun and challenge of getting graded coins, but anything is possible.

Alderney gold Una’s came in many weights and sizes, mostly from Hattons of London. They had exclusivity to 24 carat gold versions with a small VR mintmark.
They’re particularly noticeable in that they lack the year date in Roman numerals below Una. The standard 2019 year date is only displayed on the obverse side beneath the lady impersonating the Queen. The Roman numerals are replaced by coin descriptions - Fifty pounds (5oz), Twenty pounds (2.5oz), Five pounds (Quintuple Sov), Double Sovereign, Sovereign, Half Sovereign and Quarter Sovereign.
The £50, £20 and £5 coins each had a worldwide mintage of 199. The double sov had a mintage of 399. The standard sov size mintage was 2,019. The half was 1,839 and the quarter was 4,999. Hattons proclaimed them as the World’s first 24 carat gold sovereign or 1/2 sov or 1/4 sov whatever, but I agree with @sovereignsteve in that they’re not proper sovs (although they might weigh the same).

Mark Douglas written books Trading in the Zone / The Disciplined Trader in his course How to think like a professional trader he talks about his Silver position had in 1980 (Hunt brothers Silver position started in 1979). Interesting history lesson starts 11 minutes into YouTube video
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgaTlTfQnZI
Because of what happened to his positions in Silver lead him down the route of trading psychology and subsequently became an author.

WSB actually becoming actively hostile towards silver as media keeps pushing the story. If GME implodes this week expect them to blame the silver pumpers in retaliation.

wsb seems to be turning on the silver posts, they're trying to keep people focused on gme apparently

Honestly, I don't buy the narrative on most of this event. Institutional money probably made a killing on all of this and now watching people play tug of war over who gets to hold the bag.
