Think I’ve decided it’s mainly going to be coins for me though.

A delightful Victoria 1838 Maundy Set, first year for Victoria Maundy Set.
Also received today a 50 years of the 50p Culture Set.  The Royal Mint excelled themselves with the overall presentation.

Not that hard to find but our are at less than stupidly high premium

To give an idea of towel worthwhile it is investing in platinum group metals look at how well platinum group shares and stocks are doing against the rest of the precious metal ones.
Should you invest simple answer yes but it's the most volatile of all all so careful watching of the markets is definitely required as Pete has already outlined

These three arrived today from @SVcollector. Two nice George V Perth mint Sovereigns and my first 20 gold Franc Rooster.
I’ve had my eye on the 20 Francs for some time. Now I’m wondering if I’ve made a mistake. All day I’ve thought “Not another collection, no, no no..... hmmmm actually.... they are quite nice” 😬 🤦🏻‍♂️




 
 
 
 

I'll sort them pennies out for you, but i don't think there's much value in them, especially the 1933 one sat on top of the pile!

Today I received an absolutely stunning toned India - British 1 Rupee 1900-B. This is now my second favourite coin after my beautifully toned 1887-S Morgan dollar. Wonderful!

Sorting through old pennies was where I came in...
Counting them in our family's amusement arcade was one of my jobs as a teenager, and I still like "old" pennies, and most other pre-decimal coins, which I think were better engraved and struck then modern decimal coins.
We still have a few tons of old pennies which need sorting out when we have time...
 

This arrived today. 2 Bolivares 1965. Hard to find them with no wear on the Cornucopias!
