My quarter sov arrived today and it’s lovely. The presentation is beautiful and there are no issues with the coin. Packaging is all pristine even having travelled across the pond.

Two lovely modern Sixpences and a Crown delivered impeccably packaged as always from @MikeSol.
And three older Sixpences repatriated from the USA, won at auction.

Dear silver friends, it is always fascinating for me to hold old and new in my hands. Here, for example, it's 134 years. I love them both and wish you all a lovely weekend. Greetings from Maxe.

I don't have a setup sufficient to adequately reflect the loveliness of this coin, so gone down the detail route. It has a satin glisten to it and the difference between this and say a matte BU £5 is quite considerable to my eye, deeper and more gentle, but impossible to show unless in hand. As far as I know, there haven’t been any matte proofs since 1902 outside of couple of 1911, 1937 and 1953 patterns issued for photography purposes (?) super and @Paul, i HODL 😄

Today I received this lovely coin. Ticked all the correct boxes although I can't take great photos like other members unfortunately.  Good hair details are a must.

Simply stunning coin. Does the certificate number add any value to it for grading?

I think Sir, it is fair now to refer to your “stack” as a very fine modern collection, you need to officially ‘come out’ and sell what is left of all that heavy bullion in favour of early proofs and collectables, the dark side calling you 😄
