A few more auction buys of late! I managed to bag a kilo of pre 1920’s silver which was heaven to sort through and a couple of kilos of 1920 50% silver. Once I’ve finished sorting I’ll photograph and post as I have discovered some beautiful coins.
LOVE buying lots at auction, they are a gamble, the discovery of searching through them is full of child like wonder!

Shame they are probably all going to be dates with very high mintages.

Just picked up 2002 CHINA 4th Issue Peking Opera 4pc 10 Yuan 1 ounce 999 silver coins. Shame no box, but at the price I paid for these interesting coins I wont complain.

The rarity means at least 18 an Oz I’m afraid. I just heard they can not be sourced anywhere in Europe!

Got finally home last night... what a positive experience! Many thanks to my kind customers, the most welcoming ''colleagues' with tables (@BackyardBullion, @AgD, @Numistacker, @SovTracker and@InvestInCoins888), and all the fellow forum members who dropped by in the lounge. Had some good chuckles, and most of all got some invaluable information; lessons on grading and other hard-to-get advice (I'm now on the prowl for the Aussie sov variants @SovTracker tipped about, shhh...) 😁

I believe @SovTracker and @5huggy was talking about hosting a silver forum lounge at one in the Midlands at some point but may be wrong so I'm sure they will clarify

Trade was good, I definitely made my money today. Personally I think we should think of ways to encourage more footfall into the side room...

Was my first coin fair and I'm fairly new to this world. Thank you to everyone I met in the lounge and your patience and kindness with my questions. So happy to have my first silver pieces from @InvestInCoins888 and @jultorsk, what amazing prices. And great to meet @Numistacker and @BackyardBullion  see you all at the next one. 

I’ve invested in a iZettle. It was only £19 a few months ago, fees similar to PayPal and money goes into my bank account. It accepts a wide range of payments, cc, dc and Apple Pay. The device uses Bluetooth off my phone. 
I figure with some coins at nearly a grand in price, I’m better off with a card machine for fairs etc...
