Why bother with postage friends and family head to a local town find a jewelers and ask if the have any sovs for sale take cash then no record I find I get better deals paying cash anyway 

A nice piece from the Coin Cabinet Auction today (NO!! Not the Una......!!!!)
An MS70 graded 1/20 Panda. £90.00. Very happy with this price. Only 6 of these with this high grading. I think this was a steal!
 

I'm with the majority here - some of the best closest to spot deals I've got have been here on the forum. That being said prices sometimes work out better at the dealers. A few weeks back I was buying new sealed 2012 sovereigns from HGM for £291.39 each while I saw people buying them in groups for £310+. Its really all about shopping around and finding the best value. Personally I opted not to buy the H&B sovs despite looking at them when they were £279 as privacy matters a lot to me and I see receiving all that post as being quite dangerous. To me thats a bigger risk than buying from a truster forum member with good feedback.

i have only found gold at or below spot on auctions. i just bought a canadian 1/4 ounce gold polar bear shipped to my door for $397 u.s. just got it yesterday in the mail.  Jim

So what's the point of the sales section of this forum. There are plenty of excellent reliable and trustworthy forum members to buy both gold and silver from. 
It amazes me that people are upset when folk want a higher price. Just don't buy from them and move on?
Edit: bullion dealers do exactly the same, raising prices as quick as spot does. A sovereign at HGM etc have all risen by over £20 from 2 weeks ago

Good buying and investing though!   Them were the days £175 for a sovereign! Do you remember there was only about 10 of us on the forum per day and it was a competition who could get the cheapest gold. 

Silvers broken £14oz to, were off to the moooooon!!!!!!!
 

Yer that is true, I don’t think it’s worth it though as it’s cheaper to get from Europe and they come in good condition.

1 oz silver Ark 2020, 5 oz silver Ark 2020, and one of the very last 1/4 oz gold Ark 2017.
