Eventually got this in the post from Germany today. King Peter II of Yugoslavia 50 dinara silver coin. He never spent much time on the throne and was the last King of Yugoslavia.

After a 6 week wait my Bairds came through, @ £420 a KG, some Birmingham Mint John Pinches Silver and a beautiful Queens Beast Pattern Set. A silver day...

So after lots of research, I finally took the plunge and today have received my first PM! Very happy, two the same, lovely coins. Many thanks to @GoldenPhil who made the process very easy, and was patient with me as a novice!

After some advice from a forum member, decided  to buy this 1989 Quintuple Bullion sovereign instead of a 1989 proof double sovereign.

Just got this very impressive 2008 3oz platinum £5 proof coin 

Got these 1/10 royal arms, was going to sell them but decided I like them too much!! Also this cute little replica eagle. Just under 1gm 22ct. 

The increasingly elusive silver proof 2009 1oz "Kangaroo at Sunset" was the first time this design was available in this weight. The F12 privy was succeeded by the F15 in 2010-11, and the "Kangaroo in the Outback" issues of 2012-14. The mintage of just 4,000 was the lowest of the 12 BU and Proof coins.
 

A pair (4th & 5th Effigy) of ridiculously low mintage (10 each) platinum 5p coins (1/4 oz each), from the 2015 platinum proof sets.

Picked up hand crafted boxes for my Marvel & Queen's Beast collections.

It doesn't get much better when the postman brings shiny things two days in a row!
I only received my first ever piece of gold yesterday to add to my stack and today saw a second piece of gold arrive to keep it company.
My 1/4 oz Gold Standard is joined by a stunning 1/4 oz Lion of England this time courtesy of @arshimo2012, who is an absolute gent it must be said.
Am I being swayed towards the yellow stuff from my beloved silver.....still not sure yet......not quite the same heft holding a 1/4oz of gold by comparison to say 20oz of silver......messes with the head a little! Time will tell. 
Just need to find a good quality capsule for the wee Lion and I think I could do with finding a good quality monster box to start keeping everything together too.
Also please note the impressive array of postage stamps.....made me smile 😊

Something a bit different 

Even though I have a general dislike of private mint coins, I have a severe weakness for Pobjoy mint Isle of Man Sovereigns.

these arrived today,bought cos I liked them,a lot. made by john pinches in a set of 48pcs.normally these are were available in bronze or silver however this set is different.i have searched and searched to find some information on this coloured set,which I am told has been hand gilt  / enamelled, and incredibly well done if true,and is a one off ( am not sure this is true ). it is stunning in the hand,the pics do not do it justice.each coin weighs in at 42grams and is 44mm wide.a heavy album.if you have any info,please do tell.

1988 Gold Space Shuttle-America in Space Young Astronaut Medal (0.24187 oz Gold).
Congress approved legislation authorizing this medal; the bill was signed by President Reagan on March 12, 1986, becoming Public Law 99-295. The authorizing law specified that 10 percent of the revenue from sales was to go to the Young Astronaut Council's annual budget. The medals' obverse design was chosen from more than 17,000 entries submitted by YAC student members from across the country. Designed by Brian Kachel, then 12, of Jersey City, N.J., it features a space shuttle in flight. The design was sculptured by Mint sculptor-engraver Chester Y. Martin. The obverse design incorporates the inscriptions LIBERTY and the year 1988. The reverse, designed by Robert Ahlcrona, features a right-facing eagle, with its wings spread, perched on top of the Young Astronauts Program logo surrounded by stars. The inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and YOUNG ASTRONAUTS are incorporated into the design.
