The ASE is so much nicer in real life than in pictures (too bad about the mark on the reverse side - in front of the beak).
The Maple Leaf is a little underwhelming design wise, but better quality compared with this ASE or with the silver proofs from The Royal Mint that I have.

Lovely coin. I was sure it was a Llibertad when i receive the notification.
I believe it is time to play the lottery 🤑.   

Nice pick up, 2012 2oz lib with a mintage of 18600. And these great capsules came from @morezone the other day

So big thanks to @Tangomachine and @Peacemaker  for some VERY nice, and quite hard to find, additions to my mini bar collection
 

 

Gold acquisitions!  A couple of French 20-Franc pieces.  
Firstly a 1901 coin with the classic Gallic rooster design on one side and Marianne (symbol of liberty and reason) on the other, and secondly a 20 Franc coin from 1812 featuring a portrait of the emperor Napoleon 1st.
Annoyingly the 1812 coin didn’t come in a capsule, but capsules are cheap. 

Before 2020 starts I just got some 1/10 oz Korean Goldtigers 2019  in coincards with a population of 1.500 pieces  and the rare 1 oz silver proof Tiger 2019  with a population of only 500 pieces ...

1/10s do look nice in black flips and can be filed away... but then the same for halves. Not sure what that adds to the conversation though 😂

Received some Air tite tubes from @morezone today - thanks for the quick delivery especially over Christmas.
Everything all compacted and ready to go into a safe deposit box tomorrow, 35oz of Gold, 20oz of silver. If I’m being honest the silver is going in just to bulk it out as 35oz of gold doesn’t look like much haha.

Today I received 3 little piggies and 3 big unicorns.

Even Christmas Day didn't stop me from coin hunting! Really pleased to get my hands on one of these. A really pretty coin.

Visited my safety deposit box today and put the recently acquired Gold with the rest of the Gold stack. Don't visit Safety Deposit box that often maybe once a year and took opportunity to take some photos. Gold bullion occupying 25% space in the box the remainder family jewellery. Still enough room in the box to add another 40 oz Gold in Royal Mint tubes to finish off Queens Beasts series.
