Today I received
 
1950 Gold Saudi Arabia Guinea, pretty chuffed with it.
 
Interestingly it has a small scratch mark just above the base of the palm tree on the obverse side (the one without the swords). The guy I got it from had another one in really bad shape but interestingly it also had a minute scratch mark in exactly the same spot. After googling loads of images of the coin it looks like it may have been the standard place traders used to scratch this coin with a pin head to see if they were real gold.

1887-M Shield - Gorgeous specimen of this great rarity.
To be honest I'm not sure why this is only MS61, the prooflike nature makes this coin an absolute stunner, cannot seem to capture it in the phone images (sorry for the quality, they are focusing on the slab, but wanted to share). I'll get some better pics in the future!

1891 Short Tail Sovereign

Saved these lot from a scrap dealers melt pile. No idea if they are the real deal, they do test at various silver purities. Even as curiosities am happy to have them. 

Five of my SilverForum purchases arrived in Australia. 2015 proof sovereign NGC70UCAM, an ungraded 2000 proof sovereign, 2013 bullion sovereign, a 2014 1/2 oz Chinese Panda and finally 1/10th oz Liberty coin (my first US gold coin). Lovely coins. 

Just pressed the button on a 10oz Queen's Beast Lion on eBay for £175 - £30 more than I paid for my other 10oz coins in the series, but it fills what would otherwise have been a sizeable and very noticeable gap in my collection.......

Lovely Ruanda proofs - from the German dealers; the 2019 Lunar Pig and the 2018 Endeavour Nautical.   Talking myself into backtracking to find the other Lunar proofs🙏🙏. Not the cheapest silver - but some of the most innovative designs.  

1/10 ounce gold proof brit. Picked up for £100.
 
 

Not rare but nice. Having set up an eBay offer war chest, i picked some premium coins for bullion prices:


i also create some "unsellable" listings during eBay seller offer time and switch then the item in (e.g the 1887 is available as it is too good for my bullion bag but not good enough for grading)

Gold Stacks Growing Nicely @Abyss

Been trying to figure out the best way to store my crown sized coins. Storing in tubes causes rim damage, stacking them in a box in capsules wasn’t attractive, and coin display suitcases are too bulky.
thanks to a few forum members I managed to get hold of Panda Coin Trays (still looking for more so let me know if you have any cheap!) 
Decided to try them and I must admit I love them. They stack, they are light and you can see the coins both sides. And fit well in safety deposit boxes.

I've been naughty and brought the last 2 sovereigns for my modern specials collection...
(as always, sorry for poor photos!)

Already purchased 1oz Gold Lion of England via eBay and have purchased the remainder of @Gordon 1 oz Queens Beasts coins no longer able to complete the collection. Just say thank you Gordon for all your help and pleasant sale.
