It's strange that we all measure releases against 5 minute total sell outs and anything less can be seen as a flop!
Lets not forget the Una and The Lion was available for weeks after release before it became mental!

Arrived yesterday - a 1973 Isle of Man Sovereign from HGM.
Pobjoy mint turns out some right tripe these days but I do wish they would resurrect this design.

A while since I posted on this thread. Thought I would share a very special coin. A 2022 pattern plain edge piedfort quarter sovereign. One of only 70 minted and one of only 12 graded as PR70 Ultra Cameo by NGC.
Stunning.
 

Very unexciting, but these i picked up a couple of £1 Silver proofs on the bay for about £12 each. Thought it'd be a nice and cheap set to put on the watch list

Another 2022 double Sov from @LawrenceChard here. Been wanting one for a while and they were out of stock most places, so I snapped one up while I could. 
Lovely size and coin (the mark near the unicorn's gob is just fluff, not a dent)

Almost 2500 years of coin minting evolution. The Cook Island's 1 OZ silver Pegasos together with , a Corinthian silver Drachm Pegasos from around 350BC with a portrait of Aphrodite. For sure, that would be my favorite goddess in ancient Greece. If i had the time to watch trees and clouds, i would think about what has been paid with this coin 2000 years ago. 
I'm a fanboy of many CIT Smartminting coins. Crazy accurate strikings and unbelievable reliefs. And this one is a great example of their abilities.

Just a simple wee addition to the stack today and continuing the series.
Superb service from Martin at Silvertrader as always.
Coin is immaculate, all the wee blemishes are on the capsule 😊

Bought my very first coin on Thursday and have just received it. The first of many, and to say I’m happy is an understatement. 😁

I like to tinker on my cnc when I'm not taking piccies for @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer
I made this over the weekend.
It's 14mm MDF (painted dark navy) set on an oak plinth with an acrylic plate for the cypher.
How it came about - we're striving to get the rotations correct / consistent on the images of coins we take and one way to do this was to draw a silhouette around the monarchs portrait that we can then line up and rotate the image to fit.
So...I started doodling with them late last week and came up with the 1st portrait embedded within the 4th portrait.  It looked quite nice for a mock-up coin that @LawrenceChard liked.  So over the weekend I thought I'd cut it out and see how it turned out.  On these white background shots it's not too apparent that the 1st portrait is actually a cut-out.  
Anyway - I decided to donate this to Amazing Graze - a local soup kitchen who do some great work - they're thrilled and are currently auctioning it off.
Just thought some of you may be interested to see it

On a more modern theme I’d like to show a few 1989 nickel-brass  commemorative £2 coins which attracted me a few years ago, (with apologies  for the 2 silver Piedforts) The pairs shown are the English Bill of Rights and the Scottish Claim of Right. The top 4 are Unc. 5&6 are Piedforts. 7&8 are Proofs. 9&10 are BU. Usually the Claim of Right is more expensive than the Bill of Rights. I believe @Stuntman likes these as well!😄 Underrated and overlooked IMO

Bale of Yeaufort arrived with another lion so it didn't get lonely in the post. Hopefully @DrDave buys one too then we can see a better photo 🤣
