The year 2000 sovereign was a buy from one of the Coin Cabinet auctions.
The other four were all bought on the Silverforum.

The 1998 RAM Silver Proof $1 1oz Kangaroo Following the introduction of the BU silver "Frosties" in 1993, the RAM started the set of corresponding proof roos with this coin. The design changes with each year and both formats have been produced ever since. Despite the recent climb in silver prices, the steep issue prices from the RAM means that these beautiful proof versions are, even now, still changing hands at prices near their lows in Australia. Photos courtesy of maestro @CadmiumGreen® Having started this collection only recently, I still require over half the proofs and would welcome PMs if you have any to swap or trade.

1853 Shield Sovereign
Arrived today and whilst not the highest grade I like the uniqueness of these earlier sovereigns, each one a little different.
1853 was a year renowned for mint errors.

A herd of 2020 silver swans ...to accompany a solo 2019 swan and cygnet. Love these Perth Mint designs - for me this is their best current silver annual series by a long way. I still buy the annual silver Kook ...but with about the same enthusiasm as selecting a diary for the next year🤣🤣 .

Thanks @Realwealthuprising for the beautiful 2019 proof Dutch gold Ducat. A short while after buying it from the Silverforum I picked up a 1927 bullion Ducat from a Sydney auction.

This is my latest pickup a 1942 dated 'Mercury headed' Dime (or 10 Cents), made from .900 silver by the Philadelphia mint.
This coin design was brought out in 1916 replacing the previous 'Barber Dime' coin, it was manufactured unchanged until 1945 when it was replaced by the Roosevelt Dime design.
The first thing that shocked me when I was first looking at wartime versions of these coins was the fascine on the reverse, this was Italy's dictatorships emblem used by Mussolini, and where they got the word 'fascist' from, it was only when I realised that the design was used on the US coin long before he used it and not the other way around.
The front featured what looked like the Greece god Mercury, but I think it was Liberty wearing a winged cap with it meaning freedom of thought.
Many millions of these were made for nearly three decades, different mints, errors and weakness of the strike from worn dies effecting the value as well as condition, apart from whether or not a coin has all its original mint lustre one way to check the wear on these coins is if you can see the separate little bands holding the fascine's together, if the top and bottom ones look one piece (instead of two) then the coin is probably worn, the centre one can also wear down BUT, a coin like mine that has all its mint lustre probably was made from a worn die making the centre band look like a one piece.
The coins were made by three mints, one had no mint mark the others had letters denoting theirs, this could be found bottom left of the fascine.
Philadelphia, no mark
Denver, a D
San Francisco, an S
My coin had a mintage of a colossal 205,432,329 million minted in 1942 alone, by just the Philadelphia mint, so they are common but also not as easy to find in AU/UNC condition possibly due to the soft high silver content in them and long time in service, which to this day are still legal tender in the USA.

A purchase from a new seller/member @Empire with thanks to the escrow service of @BackyardBullion
Fantastic coin at a super price.
I’m happy to recommend the new seller and BYB service, which was smooth with a capital ‘OO’.
I’m going to have to flip this one to fund a purchase I’m desperate for, if you are interested keep your eyes peeled or give me a shout!

Many thanks to @LawrenceChard Chards @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer For this super purchase! A bit of an oxymoron, Sussie Gold Silver... Fabulous customer service when the system failed on the payment page, spot ran away, yet Chards honoured the deal at nearly a £50 loss to them.
They have also dispatched an order made via Platinum Deals that Chards offer exclusively for Platinum members, thanks @ChrisSilver. Again Chards offered a deal I suspect they may have forgotten about, as they set it up back when Spot was LOW! Yet they have honoured the deal without question, letting me buy the cheapest silver available in the UK! Sent today so watch this space...
