A pair of his and hers silver bullion rings that were made to order arrived today.
Really nice work, and the photo's don't really do them justice.
Thanks to @RiverbankSilver for making this happen.

Much as I love your Blue Peter crafing solution 😉 the tray is just standing up against the lid and the lid closes fine 🙂

2021 One Kilo Silver Gothic Quartered Arms
I haven't seen it yet, and this is not our usual pro-quality photo, but it still looks good.

richatthecroft got a reaction from silversurf in Today I Received.....
Received these three lovely Crowns. Thanks @Iacabu for the ‘Restoration of the Monarchy’ £5. That’s the first tray in my modern cabinet filled with both £5’s and a dozen Piedfort £5’s.
Three different Portraits here, I’m always surprised that the IRB Portrait endured for so long. In my opinion it’s neither a flattering depiction nor is it distinguished- and unfortunately spanned the releases of some very special Sovereign releases.

Arrived today, bought from Chards.
Two lovely Silver Proof £5 Crowns with interesting and modern alternative interpretations of the classic George & Dragon design.
These commemorating Prince George’s 2nd & 5th Birthday- and will sit nicely beside the ‘The Royal Birth’ and the 1st Birthday £5 Crowns.
If anyone has the Prince George Christening £5 Crown and wishes to part with it, please give me a shout 👍
A lovely Set! 😃

That’s a beautiful coin- Looks like it’s a couple of hundred years old in the photos in that lighting.
A tiny flaw- nothing’s perfect in this world- if you like it- keep it 👍

Personal choice on the grading- and merits in both. I have a few older Crowns and other denominations in slabs which I have bought pre slabbed- but I prefer them raw in my old school cabinet.
I did however, recently purchase a Proof 1935 Crown that I have consigned to NGC to be graded- proofs aren’t as forgiving in terms of them being handled!

Any Wreath crown, in any grade, is a super thing to hold, in my opinion. I'm sure your father will be really pleased to enjoy handling the coin and I bet he will feel a deep sense of connection to a coin that is as old as he is.

I bought mine second hand- but the Cabinets can be still bought and made to order- this is my model- if you buy from them, you can specify what diameter inserts the trays have.

richatthecroft reacted to Darr3nG in 2022 Sovereign design revealed?
Everything from my remaining order arrived today - have to say, I am very impressed with the Mint's additional packing.
All coins look good enough (perfect?) to the naked eye. Not gonna spoil them by checking under magnification.
Now to decide whether to grade or not...
Here's my full collection, it does look pretty sweet
