At long long last..my date run of French 20 Francs Angels is complete, and comes to an end (and an expensive one☹️)!. With kind assistance from @augur I managed to get the ‘Torch’ engravers mark on an 1896....bought at the Gadoury auction in Monaco earlier this month. 
 


This will fit in nicely with the little hoard below...note the difference between the two 1896’s.

Another 1/5 Peru Libra added to the collection. Not easy to get these cheap, got it at spot after rescuing it from the melt pile! 

Based on the price of the Gold VIP tour (£480 according to https://www.royalmint.com/the-royal-mint-experience/vip), I assume that's not a 1 oz coin?

Nevertheless, cool experience!  Tempting to do this myself on one of the next times I'm going to the UK.

Not received today, actually back in September when my wife and I did the Royal Mint Gold VIP tour. During the tour you can strike your own sovereign and here it is!
