I had a £5 matte BU 2022 memorial sovereign in hand yesterday............Hum not blown away don't get me wrong they are nice but they are too much in terms of design and frosting, and some of the design is lost IMO.     I do think the £5 proof sovereign will look good.  I'll do some side by side pictures once they are delivered.    

Absolutely not my pocket size, but still a dream. Auction World is offering an original Una in gold and a silver pattern piece in their next auction.

The gold one starting at ¥20.000.000 (£128k), the silver pattern at ¥15.000.000 (£96k). 

I was told the same about the jubilee piedfort. I sent two back and was told on the second that I'd have a refund with no othe option. A week later another piedfort showed up in perfect condition. 
And no.... unfortunately they didn't mess up and give me the refund as well lol. 

With all these investments at this pace in 2022 and the rising price of gold, it's maybe time to not be so tempted again and make some economy by slowing down the investment, at least for Collection coins (I am aiming for bullion and liquid coins however)
Even if I would love a special and nice design such as the WW St George or a nice Pistrucci design for the next GE, especially with the last QEII, I am secretly hoping it will not be iconic  enough to pass my turn this year

Hurray!  A 2022 Queen Elizabeth II memorial proof sovereign……..looks good at first inspection the tiniest bit of flake next to the I in FID but I can easily sort it. Will have a closer look at it when n better light……. Gorgeous looking sovereign, can’t wait to get my hands on the £5 sov’s.

Same as most other people today I think! Very nice coin (after playing pass the parcel with myself to get in - I counted 8 layers of packing around the coin including the capsule...) Luckily the dings near the lions bum are on the capsule, not the coin.

 

No chance I'm cancelling mine, not even if a king William Sovereign comes out before the king Charles ones arrive!

It seems that the interest for Una doesn't vane , and this is still definitly the winner of the GE collection. However, I don't understand why the 3 G and the GC don't have such interest...I'll see what the next design reserves to us and at what (hefty premium) price (I guess £52/£5500 ? ) ...I hope it will not be a "2" coins design and I am not really fond of the Petition Crown, and my wallet is crying  with all these last Jubilee and Memorial coins releases !   
I would love to get the WW St George, with QE II, it would be gorgeous but WWyon's designs seem over in this series. I would hope that RM revises their  plans
