The 3oz is definately a special chunk!
It’s also too heavy to stay up in the case with the magnetic attachment at 45 deg alone cos’ it’s too heavy. Clearly this was over looked by the U.K. mint 🤔 … I have propped it up in picture on back inside of case to get picture.  



 



 

Underneath it all was this cheeky 2020 quarter ouncer, one of only nine returned from the June 2021 Trial of the Pyx.

At least they reverted back to screw capsules lol

Sotd sov 2022 they even Incluced two bits of packing paper lol 😂

Received a nice eBay win of a Silver £5 Crown this morning- lovely design this one commemorating Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday 😃 
And after an indirect journey to me via one or two different Royal Mail delivery offices I received my SOTD which looks to be a nice example 👍

very nice - looks problem free - nice plain edge.  As Dave says above it is a nice satin/pearlesque like sheen to it

Anyone noticed the matt finish is different from other matt SOTD?   
Left 2019 Matt SOTD right 2022 SOTD the finish is much brighter and has a satin peerlessness to the finish they look very nice.

We are having a lot of snow here today in Chicago.  No damage to my portrait crown that arrived today.  Although I almost slipped and cracked my skull retrieving the package, the coin was safe (which is all that matters).

I can feel myself getting on a right one here.  We are looking down the barrel of a 20%+ inflation by the end of the year.   If the CPI was changed only to include most peoples monthly outgoings. Food, utility, fuel, commuting, rent/mortgage, council tax, child care, debt repayments, then the real inflation figures would be north of 15% now.   
 

Hi all, just stumbled into silver and discovered this place by chance on a boring night shift at work. So many tempting offers and can already see the benefit of buying/selling on here. 
Quick couple of questions:
Is it worth upgrading to a premium account, and how safe is buying and selling on here?
I'm starting with silver and looking towards gold in the future so any advice much appreciated.

@Roy There's no easy answer, everyone the banks, consumers have all been feckless at some point.   I remember Northern Rock throwing 125% mortgage at people, and capital one credit cards offering massive limits higher than customers yearly income.
Also we now have a generation of mortgage payers who have never had to pay more than a few percent interest or had to endure financial hard times.  
I don't have any sympathy for people ordering 3-4 takeaways a week and then crying poverty......I have friends like this.  
The people who I do have every sympathy for is those working their backside off trying to rise a family and no matter what they do they can not get out of debt.
