There once was a lady from Rhyl,
Who used a dynamite stick for a thrill,
    They found her vagina,
    In North Carolina,
And bits of her tits in Brazil.

I know someone who bought a Gothic great engraver.

When he bought it he was proud and never felt braver.
he soon worked out he did not want and had a great epiphany
ill kickoff so much I’ll tell the mint my  wife works with Cartier and Tiffany!

In Limerick form (names changed to protect the innocent):
The once was a man named Burry,
Who was caught in a terrible hurry,
Bought a coin from the mint,
    Found out he was skint,
So proceeded to spew out some slurry.

Yep, their backlog must be large.  I am still owed a 1 oz. silver Henry VII and a 5 oz. silver Platinum Jubilee coin in addition to the SOTD Sovereign and the Gothic portrait coin.

I have sat here after spending around 150  hours of my life arguing with a share dealer based in the Netherlands via the Dutch equivalent of the Ombudsman. I have become immersed in arguing over back side covering weasel words. I stupidly read this thread and found myself reading the same drivel from a business that holds all the cards and the money.
Back to basics. The difference between using one retailer over another comes down to the proposition. Part of that, the most important part, is customer service. Let me explain, customer, that is me. The little person. Service, that is what you provide. In return, I put food on your table, clothes on your back and a roof over your head. Customers know that things go wrong, it is how they are handled that matters. Scrap the weasel words and provide the service.

@PowerCoin After all the criticism you have received  (I'm never a fan of trial by forum)   well done for stepping up to the plate & sorting the problem out. I'd suggest if anyone has a problem with an official sponsor try messaging them 1st through TSF to see if the issue can be resolved amicably.

    What can I say, @PowerCoin? Well done!🤗
I am happy to see how elegant you have solved a delicate problem and how responsive you have been when a customer was unhappy.
    Many thanks!

@GoldDiggerDave We have checked that order, it was actually charged 15% fees for cancellation and the amount was 60.00 euro (about £50.00). This amount has been fully refunded yesterday, we didn't even keep the not refundable fees that the credit card company applies (about 5%). I think that the customer will also confirm that on this forum soon.

2014 6-Coin Silver Proof Britannia Set   Further to a French polishing commission, I have just been given this very generous gift as a "thank you bonus".    The desirable 2014 Britannia 6-coin set was limited to a mintage of merely 1735, this set being number 685 and in all-round superb condition.

We are in uncharted territory, that’s for sure.
We’ll never see another monarch on the throne for 70 years in our lifetimes.
Who knows how the 6th Feb 2022 SOTD Matt sovereign will fare in the future, but I think it’s a safe bet.
I prefer older sovereigns, I like the history but we are without doubt mere custodians of tomorrow’s history. If you think, why are there so many high graded 1887 sovereigns and not just sovereigns out there but other 1887 coins.
People put them away, just like we’re doing with our 2022 sovereigns and other 2022 coins.
Maybe any 2022 coins will be worth more in the future.

I feel the smallest gold releases for this platinum jubilee year may end up being the most in demand given there's no shortage of product to throw your fiat debt tokens at this year

I feel this has a lot going for it.
I’d sort of forgotten about it on Sunday afternoon as I didn’t really intend to buy it nor expect to be able to after the ridiculous queue numbers RM have been giving me recently. I joined the queue and was lucky to get in within 5 minutes and I had a, should I, shouldn’t I moment.
But you are right, the lack of flipping says a lot about this and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t really like the idea of SOTD sovereigns. Except this one.
Having said that, I think this, with the 2017 is a joint STOD to have.

Mines going nowhere, judging by lack of flippping today's and ultra quick resales on feebay for the few that flipped, seems like this be a good one to grade and HODL like my 2017  pf70 sotd.

Yeah the box was REALLY nice. When I was unboxing mine I wondered if they hadn't made a mistake and sent me a gold instead of the silver I ordered. So much nicer than any other silver proof box I've had before. I also very much agree with your thoughts on the coin - it is really nice. Much nicer than expected.

2022 1oz Bullion Ronseal   Nothing to get too excited about in this wee collection, although it is good to see that both the Elephants' legs all reach the ground. So much more fortunate than several African leaders who disagreed with the 'flu-like pandemic that never wrought havoc across the continent. Their refusal to deceive their own people most certainly did not result in their assassinations. Just accidents, coincidences and "covid". They were not hanged for their opposition.   The Kook is good but does lend more than a nod to the 2020 RAM WMF 1oz coin. The vast majority of both 2021/22 Kookaburras are believed to have badly damaged and deformed, this following encounters with Queensland Police when the coins were being transported across State boundaries. Just doing their job.   It is well worth picking up a New Zealand 2020 Penguin. I agree with many that it the pictures do not to its 3-d effect justice. At around £30 and with a mintage of just 25,000 it is considerably better value than most 2022 bullion. Having been under 25,000 miles from somebody who coughed in 2020, most of the issue still have another 12 years quarantine still to complete. Coins are not legally allowed to be reimported to NZ due to the menacing risk of mass extermination of the already extinct bird.   The Maples continue to portray ERII in the most beguiling of fashions. She must be well chuffed. The only surprising element is that fascist Dictator Justin Castro didn't insist on the coin bearing his own portrait. This before he went into hiding from the Canadian people.   The Philly is yet one more Austrian Enigmatic Variation and can now only be purchased upon production of a vaccine passport, the sporting of a fylfot and the bellowing of three "Sieg Heils". Rumours of a forthcoming "Yellow Star privy" edition have not been confirmed.
