This is the 2012 bullion version of the half sovereign. Bought this from an Australian eBay seller. It’s taken ages to find one, scare as hens teeth!
Also received this 1921 Philadelphia Morgan dollar. Loads of these about (I think there were over 20 million minted) but the coin is in nice condition at a decent price.

    Nearly there.
Each Monarch since the Inaugural Sixpence issue.
Notable absences is a Phillip & Mary Sixpence (substituted here with a Mary Groat) and also a William & Mary, neither of which I have been able to source an example I would be happy with, the former will be a difficult gap to fill.  In terms of a Cromwell issue, I've resigned myself that it would be beyond my resources to ever acquire that Sixpence.
I will in time add a nice example Hammered Elizabeth I and a Charles II- and I would like to add Proof George III & George IV example's well as a Proof William IV issue.
What I've learnt: Sixpences are a difficult denomination to source in better grade!  The House of Stuart, particularly the Charles I period is the most interesting in terms of Coinage and Types of coinage.
What I need to learn:  to take time and have more patience in curating a collection of this type.
Hope you enjoy taking a look at these Sixpence Types as much as I have enjoyed collecting them.

A bit like @Gypsy a couple of posts above, I left it late for the 2022 1/10 Brits for a potential date run with 21s I bought in the summer. I could only find them at Gerrard's this late, but was a touch disappointed to see them loose in the same bag. First time I've had that happen 🤷. I know they are bullion and we've all seen the minting process but even so.....
    Order restored with @Mtaybars air-tites👍.
And four drunken dancing goats (I've got a mate at work now collecting a few pieces here and there) courtesy of @Panda6Pack. Thankyou very much.

Today these 2023 lol (last of Lizzie) Britannia's arrived. I had to double check the tube of 1/10oz Brits as I thought they were 5p pieces. The 1oz are typical poor bullion standard from the Royal Mint with small scratches to her face on both of them.

Only went into my local bullion dealers to see what silver coins he had and ended up buying this 2018 piedfort proof sovereign. He threw the silver Britannia in for free.

I think my favorite is the 2016 Butler sovereign although it’s nice to bring the two 1907 Sydney sovereigns back to Aus.
Don’t be deceived by the size of the Panda photo, it’s a 1/20th oz and so it’s actually tiny!

Latest additions through the post. First of the 2023 Britannias have arrived along with the last 2022 sovereigns to fill the tube. Also you can never go wrong with mini beasts.

MickB reacted to Darr3nG in Did you know... Royal Mint Bullion?
Just found out (very expensively) that using a credit card to buy from the Bullion section of the Royal Mint, triggers a Cash Advance Fee (at least with HSBC - 2.99%)! Ouch!
According to the Royal Mint, "Unfortunately, we do not currently accept payments by credit card." But, they do and it is processed as a cash-equivalent transaction...
I only used the CC for the rewards cash-back, but I've been double-hit. Ah well, lesson learned!

Shame the Chinese didn't make theirs 25 gram so you could stack an exact kilo of coins if they prefer metric weights.
I might be developing ocd now!
