  1. @westminstrel doesn't show the design just an email saying its for sale 9am tomorrow.
  2. @paulmerton I got the email too & that's a 1st, usually RM emails on the day of release 2 hours after everything has sold out lol.
  3. Yeah completer was just a scam/money maker for the RM, it is not part of the 10 coin set but is a very nice stand alone coin for anyone who missed out on the set.
  4. Why go to all the bother of minting a platinum coin, the Fed could just print a big trillion $ paper note, something they are good at perhaps with mickey mouse on it. Powell, Yellen & co love mickey mouse money.
  5. I'll probably collect them as there is nothing else at the moment that takes my fancy in modern coins unless the designs are absolutely dire. But IMHO the RM did a very good job with the QB series so I'd guess they will not want to kill the golden goose so to speak.
  6. @dicker that website I mentioned earlier in the thread was called Coins & Banknotes of Australia. For some reason all favourites I deleted years ago have re appeared in my favourites list lol. Still not a great deal of help but maybe some computer buff on here can track it down & see what happened to it.
  7. Dragon & Yale are the ones to keep, you'd struggle badly to get those two, strangely enough the falcon which wasn't that popular at the time is also hard to find & all three will be very expensive to replace.
  8. @dicker Looks like he stubbed his benson & hedges out on the Queens face @thesongofthunder that's the obverse not the reverse.

    Pep talk

@Roy Don't be a big girls blouse, just buy it you know it makes sense, you could be a millionaire next year.
  10. @Wadsworth Re spots Its a difficult one for a collector to wrestle with, if it is the last one you need to complete your set I'd tolerate a spot, as QB 2 ozers are not that rare I'd take the one with a spot to complete my set & watch out for a better one in the future which will come up. I deliberately bought only clean graded 69 & 70 2oz QBs for exactly the reason you are irritated about namely milkspots & srcatches. Although now the price for the graded 2oz QBs are very high with the exception of the bull.
  11. Set of 5 x 2022 Royal Canadian Mint | A Radiant Crown | Maple Leaf Fractional Silver Coins1£150.92Subtotal£150.92Tax£30.18Shipping£18.58Grand Total£199.68 just priced it through my account if you pay by pay pal its 4% on top. If you are crypto person you can pay by bitcoin as well.
  12. If you like the set just buy it, if you are looking to try and turn it over for a profit leave it.
  13. The prices they show exclude VAT & shipping & there is no duty to pay, but if you are spending/buying a decent order shipping is free, I bought 10X10oz Una & Lion bars earlier this year shipping to my UK address was free. You can also pay by paypal but that is an expensive way of buying from them.
  14. They just have an office in Canary Wharf which takes orders, all product is shipped from Canada & you pay by wire transfer into their account at the Royal bank of Canada.
  15. I predict the world will end in the future.
  16. I couldn't pick an absolute favourite piece as I like all of my collections & depending what I am collecting at the time determines my current favourites. All lunar series one silver proofs, all queens beasts, all silver kook proofs & last but not least my carry pieces
  17. @kimchi Re PCGS grading I actually bought a PR 70 1oz silver QB unicorn which had a milkspot, I did send it back as they didn't disclose it & it was on the reverse, if it was on the obverse at the time I would have kept it. So I don't think they are any better than NGC re milkspot issues.
  18. @foinikas Out of that set only the bull got a 67 which isn't great but getting a 70 Yale is excellent as there are only 5 graded a 70.The Dragon which is also highly desirable got a 69 which is one of only 4 graded 69 & no 70s is great in fact only the Yale has been graded at a 70. Those 2 if you sold them would IMHO command over £2000 for the pair.
  19. @dicker Not much help to you now pal, but there was & I stress was a fantastic Aussie website that had every variation of the Kooks all sizes in gold, silver & platinum, Bu & proof individual coins, privies, sets etc etc. Unfortunately it went offline 6 or 7 years ago. I tried at the time to track it down & see if anyone had taken the resource over but had no joy.
  20. You guys are making me paranoid lol, I've just looked at my 2oz silver proof completer & am pleased to say it has zero spots, I think I'll grade it sometime to go with the 2oz graded Bu I'm looking for.
  21. No but I have the 1oz silver set all PF 70s & they are stunning. Re the gold coins you have it would spoil your set if you didn't get a full run of 70's & you can almost guarantee you'll get a least 2 or 3 69's. Re the completer which is not really part of the set I'd just grade that one & keep your beautiful set as it is.
  22. It looks right to me from the photo & if it weighs right it should be fine, where did you buy it from?
  23. 2019 una and the lion Gold 2oz. Well south after Una sand the lion 2oz gold high grade PF70 check the reference on image. Thanks again Royal Mint I know a few members on here can't spell but FFS if you were selling £35,000 coin I'm sure you'd manage to spell sought not south & and not sand, lol.
  24. I didn't mention conservation I stated " it's not heavily spotted so I think it will grade normally, one spot is not a big problem re grading."
