Cannot seem to work my magic on the prints - but considering they have a 150 mintage and literally 10,000 coins have been bought I don't think these prints have been a hit!
I would probably have bought one if they were £25 each - but £95 seems too much 😞

Thank you everyone for your very helpful advice and I’m pleased to say that the piece duly arrived and without incurring any additional duty or other charges so that the total of £33 paid by me including postage and packing from the USA to the UK and no additional VAT, taxes or duty arose.

Just as a quick update to everyone. 
Just spoke to my Account Manager and she advised that if a customer has got an email order confirmation then you have NOTHING to worry about for your order. 
If you have placed an order and you have not got the email confirmation then you should get in touch with customer services to see whats happening. They have kept a very limited number of items back to accommodate such issues. 
This also means that there might be the odd coin set that comes back up for sale in the next 24 hours as full orders are confirmed and allocated.

Serious question. Have you ever tried using the smelt as a hardcore quick curry maker? I am guessing anything you put in there would come out like soup…but you know, asking for a friend…
I guess it takes a while to heat up, but if you are just finishing a silver batch you can chuck another melt on the barbie, right?

Personally, not. If I missed out on these it would not be the end of the world for me. I am buying them as an investment hold for short term rather than locking them away for the rest of my life. 
Short term - not going to be seeing these flipped in the next few weeks, but I will be taking profits at some point in the not too distant future if profits are available. 
I will add that if enough profits can be made to pay for the single sovereign outright I would actually keep this one for decades. Platinum Jubilee is pretty special and worth holding on to. 

I agree that it is not good from The Royal Mint to constantly mess up their releases with bad website management and Queue systems.
They introduced the Queue systems to eliminate the possibility of double orders on items that were limited in stock - which used to be a real problem even before the massive releases of flippable products and thousands of people queueing for the coins. 
OK, thats fine but I agree that if they are going to do this then they need to get it right. That means a total lockdown of their whole website - something that does not seem to have happened today. Direct links to products should not have been publicly available. 
Now, from my side of things, does it make me feel bad to have gotten in early and purchased - not really. We work with what we are presented with and it is really the responsibility of The Royal Mint to make sure their systems and website are up to scratch otherwise it will continue to hurt their brand and put off their customer base. 
Just my 2 cents.
