So you have the Dragon anyway? Well done! You may as well keep up the series. It's the cost of getting the dragon now which is stopping me catching up on these.

Yes I managed to get one and numi got it graded for me. A PF70 which was a bonus.

It's still a fine looking piece. But i know what you mean, i think the Phoenix and the Dragon were better done. The Phoenix is my personal favourite. Wish i had gone for this series at the time, now. Oh well.

One thing confuses me. Why did they feel the need to write "unicorn" underneath, on this one? The others simply left it with the Chinese writing which was nice.

I thought the same, It kind of takes the look off it with English. I was going to get the Phoenix but I don't  now.

  4. Not known as far as I'm aware other than NGC have slabbed a small number. I remember seeing one at Baldwins but they were probably just selling the slab.

Yours is typical. They are often 2 - 4 letters and usually shifted by the same degree in the same direction. I always thought they were produced during striking and find it difficult to believe the engraver could over-stamp all the letters exactly to the same degree. Why would they do it?

I therefore remain to be convinced the RIA/RIA is a genuine variety, maybe I'm wrong.

Perhaps Steve Hill could be contacted for an opinion?

All the letters on that side of the coin including the date are like that

I thought it was a common thing.
