Morning everyone, further to my Au and Pt stack photo earlier this month, I've found an old shot of the Ag I used to have (🤔), to share. 
3 of everything as expected, plus a few miscellaneous @BackyardBullion pieces. 
With a rough conversion from metric for some of it, we are looking at about 310oz all in, the majority of it purchased from forum members since I joined the forum last summer.
Au and Pt photo thrown in for good measure!!
And that was it before it joined Davy Jones of course 😞.
Forgot 3 x 1oz proofs of  each the Panther and the Lion Tudor Beasts

Had to add my recent purchases to my stack today so set it up all nice and took a pic for your delectation.
A lot of the silver you see (50%+) is from the forum and a small amount of the gold.  Have also included a snap on how I store my stash, it all goes in Peli boxes with silica sachets I change every few weeks and is then kept in a safe (I am lucky enough to have a friend with a large safe so do not have to pay fee's for my storage).  If anyone knows a better way please say, I had considered tubes for the coins in caps so if anyone uses that method let me know what tubes you recommend and what case you keep them in

Getting there

Treasure Look at Sunday.... as of 6th March

My current non Ag stack. All three kids loved the Pandas, so I sourced one each, and then they each chose another world coin, hence the Kangaroo, the Buffalo and the most recent Philly!
Going forward, the continuation of the 1/4 Brits with the 1/4 Tudor Beasts and maybe a venture into Sovereigns and/or fractional World bullion, but buying 3 of everything in 1oz will be harder if spot keeps increasing, hence the move to fractional🤷. Not a real problem, that fact is not lost on me, especially in the current climate🇺🇦💙🇺🇦💛.
Overall, very happy with this stack so far!

Month one of stacking/collecting. The Phillies were the latest acquisition. 

Up to date with the half sovereigns and making good progress on the fulls 🙂

Overfilled my 10 oz silver bar case.

I had to drop some new items off at safe deposit box yesterday, so took my camera along to finally see my gold stack together - viewing room table wasn't big enough to get everything into one shot  For someone who could never hold onto money in his 20s I think Ive done OK

Thought I would post my progress, moved from silver to world gold then to English graded (apart from the shipwreck Clive of india treasure) and this is where I am up to so far, with an ms61 1718 quarter guinea and ms61 1855 half sov sent for conservation and regrade and awaiting their return to join the others, small but nice stack 

Visited my safety deposit box and took the opportunity to take a few photos....

Proof half sovereigns are under-rated in my opinion. Some of the mintages are way lower than the proof sovereigns. Great collection!

Sat in a room full of people who now think it's a sin to own so much as gold jewellery...

It’s a bit of a long one. So apologies in advance 🤦‍♂️.
I’ve been stacking for a little over two years now (basically since “this” all started). The other day I was talking to friend of mine (who’s heavily into crypto) and he asked me why I do it. I explained that I don’t do it as an “investment” or to “get rich quick”. I stack for several reasons. Savings, hedge against inflation, wealth preservation, staying out of the system and a protection against a financial meltdown. However I also added that I like the fact that there’s no third party liability (if you don’t hold it, you don’t own it, as the saying goes) and if (as is happening to many around the world right now for no apparent reason) my bank decides to press a button and freeze my account, I still have a way to feed my family. Sell some bullion to get cash and buy food, pay bills, etc. He understood this and thought it all made sense.
However he asked me a question that I couldn’t answer and one that I’m putting out there for some responses. He asked me what I would do when CBDC’s are introduced and cash is taken out of society. He acknowledges that I’ll still have the bullion to sell, but if cash doesn’t exist and banks are controlling what people can spend or not spend their money on (or even freezing accounts if you’re “not following the rules”), how will having bullion help? I can still sell my bullion but the money would go into a bank account that’s highly controlled and I’m back in the system. Now I did say that I’d use my silver as a form of bartering to pay for goods or services, but that’s going to take time and in a relatively poor western country like Portugal, I don’t think it’s going to be easy. If I was in the U.K, USA, or one of the other more affluent European countries, I think the barter system would be a possibility. I said I’d come back to him once I had a chance to think 🤔. 
 
Would love to hear some opinions.
