Tudor Beasts 10oz Silver Coin

I think for most of us, to purchase any 10oz coin is quite a commitment and usually bought because you like the design or want to complete a set. So for most of us, myself included it would be a keeper. Personally, not too keen on the lion, however, I am after a 10oz Britannia which will not be going anywhere.

I am actually collecting the 1oz version of these, but any 10oz coin gives a nice large picture and the details are amazing.

I made the decision to get this chunky coin to start another set - why I really don't know - but keeping spare cash in the bank or under the bed is losing value rapidly.

I am just wondering if the  The Lion of England - Tudor Beasts 10oz Silver Coin is a worthwhile UK purchase to hold long term?

They are a nice design, typical RM bullion quality, but whether you buy for the long term is more of a personal, individual preference. It also depends whether you are buying for the investment in precious metal, or for collectability and aesthetics.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I am new to precious metals and my aim is a long term hold. Buying mostly sovereign and got my first last week.

The gold sovereign for me was a little underwhelming. I feel the actual item is low quality. It was a 2022 royal mint sovereign. Looks like the edges are sharp and not cut with quality if that makes sense?

Trust me to start buying when gold close to all time high. I meant to do the buying a few years ago.

I had hoped to find a local dealer close to Cardiff but online seems to be better with the likes of Chards and other similar dealers.

Gold coin no.2 will be next week .

The queens beasts 10oz coins command  high premiums and I believe buying the 10oz Tudor beasts will also appreciate as each new coin gets released.
