Not surprised. Keep an eye on the mints website. In about 4 weeks they might have some returns backup for sale lol.
They definitely will

Have to say I don’t quite get the negative sentiment around this series. I really quite like it. Each to their own of course.

I've got one I don't need.
A good one? I have the 1oz just should start the run on the 2oz
-
Up to 750 for the 2oz. 1350 for 1oz

I’ve been ok in Australia (so far) keeping below the $900 limit but that basically means gold is impossible even though by rights bulllion is exempt. I’m not risking it as the tax office seems to charge first and ask questions later. Rules don’t seem to matter

It’s very unusual to find and acquire such a nice example.
1551 Edward VI Sixpence, mm Tun
GVF- with an exceptional portrait of
the young boy king. This issue is very often plagued with creases and worn. This is the inaugural Sixpence issue, and I’m pleased to add such a nice example into my collection.
Wow! Stunning
Wow! stunning

mintage up a little on the 1oz
Yeah.. what was it before? I seem to remember £90 too, or was that wishful thinking?

I'm kind of in the same boat but in reverse so maybe we could come to an arrangement hehe? I'm not sure I can carry on collecting these in 2oz so thinking of swapping my 2oz Henry for a 1oz. I don't have any of the James' but now have (pending successful delivery) both a 1oz & 2oz George!
I’m even worse. I got a 1oz gold Henry .. no way I’m keeping that up. Also got 2oz silver Henry so Need a 2oz James to keep the set going
-
Got pretty much straight in. Got a 1oz silver and a 2oz (on order) silver. Now both sold out
-
Wonder if I’ll be lucky this time?😁

Actually I see you have stated that you have the Anubis coin. Can I ask where did you buy this from as I haven't seen it available in the UK yet?
The Anubis coin is the one I need, and I thought the Chariot was the last one I needed lol.
I might put out a wanted post to see if anyone has one they would like to sell or swap.
I bought it in Australia

I’m hoping to actually pick something up in Athens

Thanks. Doesn’t seem to be any options to buy or any specific bullion coins. My Greek brother in law has some Melbourne king sovereigns he got as a child. Let’s hope they are real!!

Hi,
does anyone know if Greece has a National or private mint which produces bullion coins? Had a look on the web but c at seen for find anything. Looking for a gift

I wouldn't buy this new collection at spot. Sloppy and amateurish. Looks like they commissioned a 7 year old to have a crack at them. Credit to the British Museum for the photo of the coin on the left and Royal Mint's version on the right. I only spent 2 mins looking but I'm sure there's probably a better condition one they could have referenced.
I really quite like these. Disappointed we’ve not had the next instalment on time. Even stumped for the 1oz gold in the Henry

When is the next coin in the series to be released. I thought it was June?
