The optimist in me would like to agree with you. That being said the perfect storm of Covid, supply chain issues, unlimited helicopter drops of money, escalating tensions in Afghanistan and Russia in 2020-2021 should have sent both metals soaring long term. What we got instead was a surge in August-September 2020 that sent metals skywards followed by a plunge and then a lot of bobbing along. I suspect if anything it will be a repeat of this.
Silver still hasn't hit $50 per ounce (even with the silver squeeze) and gold trickles along steadily straddling the inflation line.
The pumpers promise an exciting rollercoaster ride with more ups than downs, when you finally get to the front of the ride queue you find bumper cars and teacups awaiting instead.
 

I see these charts and countless YouTube vids and even email news letters,seems to me no more than gold/silver pumpers desperate to get sales up or taking add revenue from suppliers, why pump something so hard if its so obviously good?

2002, 2005, 2012, 2017, bullion sovereigns are not bad it you can pick them up for a reasonable rate, also it’s nice for the collection to get the 2022 Jubilee/ memorial and 2023 coronation…..it’s a free hobby.  If you think about it. 

But don't forget the RM's change of strategy - it now seems to be to release as many coins as it can to get as much money out of collectors as is possible!  This is likely to impact on the performance of one's coins.  For the Coronation, we didn't just have the sovereigns, but there were the "Ounce" coins as well.  The Britannias used to be eagerly anticipated but now it is "Oh, what have they done to them this year"!
And on a pedantic note, it could be argued that last year's Memorial sovereign was the first KCIII proof sovereign rather than this Coronation release!

If I recall correctly they said that it would be saved for 'very special occasions', so unlikely. Then again, TRM use the phrase 'special' very loosely so take that as you will.

It is the coronation year sovereign and the only one to feature Charles with a crown.

Don't forget the Kings birthday coming soon maybe another Proof out with a little privy mark added to make it a special 🤫

Although I often buy coins already graded, I never send the raw coins out for grading that I buy from the mint or dealers.  I am a collector and do not buy coins to sell, so I really don't have much interest.  Part of it is the fear that the coin I will send out will come back graded lower than I expected.

From the info I've received, prices are as follows:
Quarter = £235
Half = £385
Full = £725
Piedfort = £1305
3 Coin = £1140
4 Coin = Royal Mint exclusive 
5 Coin = £5725
5 Piece = £2975
