I was queue number 5at noon time unusual. 

The smallest coin in my collection. The quarter oz Memorial Sovereign! Imperfections were not visible to the naked eye. The craters on the King's portrait and dings on the unicorn figure are seen at above 5x magnification.  Don't think there will be any point in returning coin to Royal Mint for an exchange. Or should I? 

Its likely to be poor strike by Royalmint. I have same issue (double outline) with Royalmint Music Legend Queen Collection Coins.

Anyone looking for a three coin set may purchase separately a sovereign, a half sovereign and the sovereign. 

I ordered the quarter sovereign for a laugh🙈

Its the most expensive💰 sovereign per gram in the collection.

The smallest in its range. Engraving per unit gold appeared to be most dense. HM ears will be unnoticeable 👂  
Might be interesting how the quality turns out as I would have to look at it using loops or magnifying glass. I can display this coin and no one would notice it 🔬

I am having a pause. Buying nothing tomorrow. Had quality issues with missing gold frosting on 2 oz gold gothic crown, wrong COA for a 2 oz silver proof coin, RM issues with delays etc. 

Bought a silver proof, i like the history and design. Gold proof would be ideal representing the gold mask but i am skint 🤓

Not infequently collectors missed out buying coins from Royalmint on the day of released due to the high demand, big queue number or computer errors. The coins frequently become available again after a few weeks or months for a short period.

I am new to this forum. 

I had an offer yesterday on a Gold 2 oz Gothic Crown Portrsit from RM. 

"Gothic Crown Portrait 2021 UK 2oz Fine Gold Proof special edition plain edge coin - £5355  

Limited Edition only 125" 

I am in two minds whether to get it as it is very costly. I do like the coin having the longest and second longest monarch who reigned. This might be the last expensive purchase of gold proof as I am not a fan of King Charles III's effigy. I do have an autistic trait not coping with changes. 

Would it be a good decision if i bought the coin to add to my collection and investment? I have some concern with the quality control with RM. This coin has to be 'perfect' if i bought it.

Apologies for the delay in replying. The coins are flawless at 5x magnification, i am in 2 minds to return them for an appropriate COA. Might keep them as an anomaly, once royalmint replies.

British Monarchs King James I 2022 UK 2oz Silver Proof Coin

I sent my defective coin back for refund, tracking stated that coin delivered back to royalmint but the Mint cannot locate it. Royalmint still investigating. 

I checked with Royal Mint, both quartered arms and portrait gothic crown still available, only a few quartered arms and quite a number of portrait 5 oz silver proof. I was informed that these will be minted as when customer put in the order. Maybe, any faulty coins should be returned for reminting.
