  1. The double sovereign proof mintage is 1,310.

Assuming they're keeping 10 for the Trial of the Pyx, that leaves an extra 100 coins after they've put them in the 4-coin and 5-coin sets.

What will the remaining 100 be available as?

How odd - I was queuing for RM and thought I wouldn't get the 3 coin set so went to Chards instead and ordered the single sov. Finally let into RM site and it's allowed me to order the 3 coin set? Someone maybe cancelled an order, stroke of luck or not selling as quickly as it seems!?

The 3-coin sets were showing as "Awaiting stock" from the very outset.

Same, I have a -£4795.00 transaction confirmed on my banking app. Not sure how they could not honour this, as all I did was click a link from my email directly to their website and clicked order. Not my fault they can't manage their website/IT well enough to obey the 09:00 launch!

It does seem to have been a bit of a cockup, but everyone's in favour of a cockup when it works to their advantage! :)

I'd guess around £650. Proofs are normally double the price of bullion aren't they?

It depends when the prices are set. Gold proof coins are usually a fixed price that doesn't dynamically change depending on the spot price of gold (the hefty premium gives them a lot of safety room!) and the prices would have been set some time ago so other retailers would know what they are. So even though the price of gold has shot up quite a bit over the past week, you could reasonably expect them to be priced a bit less than your guess ;)

Exactly. The Bullion coins will be available all of next year and their mintage will not be limited like the proofs. So no one should be stressing about missing out on the Bullion coins.

Will there definitely be any bullion coins with the special design though?
