I mean it's certainly 'Full On' but I like it. I do wonder how well this translates onto the bullion coin though. Proof might be the only way to see the detail on this one.

Yep I did that last time with the 2022 four coin set to make my full and double cheaper. 

I think it was @FlorinCollector who said a few days ago about buying this set, grading them, selling off the 1/4  & 1/2 and keeping the (now much cheaper) Full Sov. I thought quite a few might go that route. It's £180 cheaper to buy the three in this set than to buy them all individually.

I asked the seller a couple of “direct” questions and he / she stopped answering.
Essentially they said that had a large quantity in hand….but couldn’t ship before some time in Jan, which of course makes no sense whatsoever.
About what I suspected.

I think it's ok to put thought's into reverse and be flexible with these decisions. 
It looks like many are waiting on the usual end of year sell off in markets. 
Lovely sets / coins, I just think it depends how stretched one is short term. Long term what lovely coins to hold.  

All depends your time scales for holding. 
My plan for this keeping it in the retirement 
I anticipate it to be Luke warm for next 3-6 months through early 2023 then you'll see slow steady appreciation

That is very shady if correct - people screencapped the release on the day earlier in the thread, so that can be checked.
I didn't buy myself, but I think it's been a good release (apart from the RM shenanigans)
Basically some issues have effectively been 'unlimited' (in that they outstripped demand) but it means everyone who wanted something got it.
Some of these will be one-off souvenir collectors, so we can remove them from the 'collector' pool (as they won't look to buy others from recent years). But some will become collectors, and the mintage on certain releases means that demand will only go up for those coins.
Meanwhile the actual 'collector pool' won't be affected much imvho - the other buyers' coins will go into the drawer or safe, largely forgotten about, and be kept for life - they won't come onto the secondary market.
And the flippers have been 'taken out'. Not good short-term (hype etc), no problem medium to long term for me.
I see it as win-win for us all (whether we bought these or not!)

My other 10 pennies worth……..in 1989 the Royal Mint could not shift the 1989 proof sovereigns, strangely enough the UK was in a similar economic position🤔 
How many wished they backed the truck up back then ?

My thinking was I buy the 3 coin set and sell the half and quarter. How cheap does that make your one sov? Very I would think.

I remember when in the 80s, then in the 90s and yes, still in first decade of the new millennium no1 was litterally giving a damn to the RM delicacies. And the 500 year of heritage was already there. If you notice the mintage of the 90s sovs...few thousands.. and i can tell you no1 was waiting on the release day or was lining out of the phisical shops to get a piece of history. Things started changing in 2002-2005-2012, but then again those were just the first innocent attempts. Thing REALLY changed in 2015 and they got just worst and worst since then. 
I lost count on all plain edges, SoTDs, princess Bday here, piedfort there, sapphire, wedding, "once in a life time, unique! never ever again" etc etc etc. And i m not even considering all the other gold emissions..
Traditions have to do with repetitiveness? Yes.
I pray for the sovereign to get back to the traditional (boring?) st george and the dragon, and to rely on my annual november proof sov to be bought and kept. I dont mind special reverses, of course, but, as already said, what makes them special is their infrequency
