    Hi,
This maybe is not what you were hoping for….
A later year Gold Panda really should be struck to a minimum of an MS69 standard so this is not a high grade, just normal.
The only benefit over an OMP coin would be the ability to add some reassurance that it is a genuine coin, that may give a slight uptick on valuation for some people.
A lot of collectors would actually prefer a coin in OMP than a ms69 later year coin, also I feel that NGC would be more popular than PCGS.
    Me..
My preference would be for a later coin (say 2009 onwards)
    NGC 70
    OMP
    NGC69
    PCGS 70
    PCGS 69
That would cause some debate amongst collectors, however  I have had PCGS coins, high grade, that when examined carefully the coin was showing a hazing effect, really not sure why this was…
    Hope this all helps!
    Cheers

I agree with almost all of the above (Well done on the collection so far)
The 5 oz I would say you would be lucky to get that much, as above, the collector base just is not there. I would value this at circa £320. The 1 oz I agree with, however recently there seems to be a wide price range on these, I sold my spare a few tears back for just over £100, (yes I spelt that right!).

Agree with the sentiment on here..
Newer huge mintage Pandas are not worth grading IMHO, most should be ms69, with a large %age getting ms70, very little benefit, however if you are going to keep them ungraded, keep them in OMP. Chinese collectors generally will appreciate that, once again with these large mintage coins it wont make a huge difference in price when selling, however it may make it easier to sell.

Just to add that the 30 coin trays were from 2007, the original from 1989 to 2005 were indeed as described in sheets of 10, with the ability to cut them out individually.
There were 20,000 2006s in the same original seal as from 1989-2005, (after some initial complaints about the change), however I am not sure if these were ones or sheets of 10s (I have never seen a sheet of 10 of these). So if you do see "double sealed" Pandas from 2007 onwards, it is a huge red light on their authenticity, some of the fakes have rounded edges on the seal which of course would be impossible if they were in the original style. Oddly I also think (this is only my opinion) that the mint changed their capsules slightly in 2006, since way more than any before or since of this year had large amounts of toning, despite been kept in the capsule.

As an aside and compounding the confusion, one of the largest dealers in China, for a short period of time, sealed some of the later years in original style, apparently with contacts from one of the mints, I suspect this was criticised as this appeared to be short lived, long and short, IMHO  any Double sealed after 2006, give a wide berth!
Obviously some people will put their own none mint seal around the coins to protect them, there are a couple of people on the forum who do this, this is pretty obvious to see that this is what it is and no attempt to confuse is done, however, taken with above comments it could to the untrained eye put some people off buying them!

I agree with above comment regarding the 2015s onwards.

Regarding the Chinese label inside the sheets of 10, only 1 of the coins had this QC label in each sheet, except 2002 when all individual coins in the sheet did.

    Cheers

Another wonderful package from @DavePanda today!

And adding to that a rare 1995 "micro" date from @Agpanda yesterday I've started collecting my varieties in earnest now!

    That completes my 1995 varieties:

So my collection is approaching completion. I will have doubles of every date from 1989 to present with all varieties  (if I can find the very rare 1999 large date serif and 2000 mirror ring)

Lived through 2011 and absolutely no shortage of buyers at all on flea bay, constant outbids.  1oz coins on £40-£50oz buy it now selling no problem at all.
    Myself included
Remember when people are looking at silver at £30oz people are thinking it is the next big thing, as it will have gone from £10 to £30 in X amount of time
"JUST LOOK HOW FAR IT HAS GONE UP" they will cry
Just look on here when gold was down £700 oz it was dissolution, moan groan and gripes, "im down" "im not buying its only going lower"
Why were we not backing up the truck then ?
Why are people still buying now at £1400oz ? despite what it has gone up on the past year ? because people are positive the positive trends will always keep going
Even buying at £40oz of physical silver it was folk saying, get it now because the genies out of the bottle and its only ever going up.
Get it now before it hits £50 and then £75
I bought it to it hook line and stinker  rather naively i'm afraid.   Hopefully im a bit wiser owl now
But saying that, i wish i had just bought gold from Day1 now, from when i started stacking in hindsight

That will make my collection complete when it arrives
All coins will be up on www.agpanda.com as soon as possible
I will have every version from 1989 to 2001 in MS69
And 2002 to 2017 in MS70 except the 2004 and 2006, as they are only MS69 for now
I will try to change every MS69 to MS70 later on, but that's really expensive
