so for the last couple years I have done a free New Year giveaway on different platforms 
To mark my first Christmas as a Silver artist I am doing a free Giveaway this year

That's a sackable offense I think, special delivery has very very strict rules. Should never have been left like that. The postie may be new though.

Welcome to the forum.
Lots of members like Gold Sovereigns, for their low premiums and relatively low cost per coin (compared to buying larger coins such as 1oz gold coins for example) they are very easy to sell and sell quickly when priced well on the forum as there is good demand for them in the secondary market.

Fully Agree, I will be keeping mine long term. 

If you can find a special moment, the brochure with the coin is one of the most informative points of interest about a coin and the designer I have ever read.  The Gothic Crown is an exceptional package from the Royal Mint.  My example will always be treasured.

Got mine, really please looks like a perfect coin to me! these new caps I have not seen, how to open these safely? 

Not sure which caps they are, but if they are the screw type, I place them between two palms, press tight, and twist my palms. Not sure if that makes sense, or if it's the same caps, but that's my preferred way of opening them. Less risk of anything going wrong imo

A quick pic of the 5oz Gold Gothic......The colour is fantastic is has an aged patina to it.  I'll stick some more pictures up on to day I received once I dig out my better camera.
