Biden straight to business with an airstrike. I was expecting gold to react but nothing yet.

I dont think anyone knows, but I can see it dropping below the 1070 supports - maybe to 1700 or 1720.
Especially as im watching bitcoin soaring to new highs & JP Morgan and other big firms have expressed interest in it.
Flipping Elon Musk & other firms have not helped LOL. He has apparently already surpassed his own companies profits from the recent gains.
Even think Barlays and Master card are thinking about it, don't quote me on that.
What is encouraging is silver is holding and all commodities including uranium are soaring.
I think even if bond yields go up gold will eventually catch up as it follows not necessarily being a commodity or that useful in batteries and tech.
It will have its day, but I am starting to think that this is not the year.
The biggest change I can see is all the robin hood traders, so the markets are more emotional than ever.
The everything bubble will not last long.
people will be kicking themselves they did not buy gold when or if it goes to £3-5000 & a pack of mince now costs £20.
Im waiting and watching & diverting my attention to blockchain stock trading/investing.
Which is possibly a little microcosm of what I have said above.
Who was it on here a few months back that said "its had its peak sell all your physical now"??
Glad I sold about 3oz recently now, wish i had off loaded all of it, if it carries on down over the next month.
Not sure it was such a good idea selling my silver brits though. Oh well I assumed that the squeeze would bring it back to £15/oz.

Theres not 35 oz in a kilo
Your using ounces target than troy ounces

If we listen to Harry sent gold could go down to $900 before a massive upturn, who knows but I will continue to buy as long as it’s going down

My thoughts exactly, especially if other stores of wealth decline like Bitcoin & property.
One thing about all of this, especially gold its teaching me to be a patient person & also not to be emotionally reactive to life.
I really think at some point this year it will explode, probbaly after the summer. My instincts on Platinum are turning out right. We could see Gold prices with that soon. Maybe they will swap as its a much nicer metal IMO.

It should go back up tonight, When the asian markets open.
Chinese New Year this weekend & the NYSE is closed today - Marton Luther King day.
I assume the Canadian exchange is open though, so that might do some damage.
Thats my line of thinking anyway, but its held strong over $1800. £1300.
If those levels get hit then it could certainly take more of a tumble - been watching it all day and its pretty stable.
Nice one. Just had dispatch confirmation from my ones at ATS ordered at the weekend.
Goota make the most of price reductions.

I have just bought my very first gold bullion today, although i think gold will continue to dfall before a rise, its always better to buy when the price is coming down and just keep buying, the gold to silver ratio taking premiums into account would say gold is the metal to buy at the moment.

My videos these last three days I think say all I need to say about this situation.
I would love to be wrong and become a millionaire this week, who wouldn't.
But I am a realist, maybe even call me a pessimist if you will - silver is not going to moonshot because of WSB or a silver squeeze.
The big winners are dealers and the losers will be those that jumped in without thinking because they got wrapped up in the hype.
I was saying this all last week and all over the weekend, this is not a moonshot situation and both here and on YouTube many people honestly believed it would be and jumped head first.
I am an advocate of responsible investing first and a silver seller second.

its being forced up just like the gamestop stock, silver will come back down once they stop this but how high will it go

Duncan Chard's theory is that the hedge funds who have been / are under pressure may have started this rumour to take pressure off themselves, also possibly as their next play / market manipulation.

I like the consolidation on the silver price and the premiums still high on the auction sites. I got a load of silver last week just from a chance conversation with a lady who had been left a massive coin collection. I bought the lot, took me 4 days to sort it !! So I got some pre 1920 and 6 kilo of pre1947 coins. I have a few commerative coins which I am trying to sell but I have thousands of pennies, halfpennies, thrupenny bits 12 sided brass. I was thinking of getting a devils forge but wondering whether it is worth it to make copper bars.
PS that buy brought my average price per ounce down £3 to £18.21 🙂

It would be a good time to stock up - that would in USD terms be sub $20. That would mean price retracing back to mid-July levels.
There was a smash today on the pretext of a potential vaccine.
This is a short covering stunt by banks in short positions.
The market broke when there was the last really big smash. Physical prices went up not down. They almost doubled before falling back. A paper price chart is no longer a close guide to what you will have to pay. If you are in the UK, which i see you are, there is the issue of Brexit and VAT.
i bought some silver today.
In general it is better to buy some with some of your available funds and leave some powder dry.
