Might I suggest @Gruff as the designated organiser? Purely based on his ability to keep us informed who won what in the Christmas draw.

A well trusted and respected member indeed

Thanks Bob, I'm happy to run some spreadsheets and help facilitate. I'm on for the draw of course. However we decide to do this.

It seems that the only way a draw could work for this then is (as mentioned by Chris) is that one solid gold trust worthy chap is custodian of a group purchase from LongJohnSilver after taking contributions to buy the listing, and then raffle it to the whole community.

That would mean that members who contribute to the purchase are not guaranteed to receive anything from the draw, however it would mean that LongJohnSilver recives his asking price and is able to ship the bundle in one package which is what the main aim is.

Much trust and community spirit is required for this to happen, other wise it would be other potions already floated. Ether a BYB mediator service or the listing split into two lots making a bit more work for LongJohnSilver.

Ohh and out of interest from where did you acquire the mysterious 2013 bumblebee it would be a strange one to counterfeit!!! They seem to be 2012 in general hey

I can rememer, its now bugging me that i may have been ‘had’ . Look at photo below, it feels like its a terrible copy of the glass 2012 version but i agree why?

and what kind of fool would have bought this? Ok ,i plead alcohol!

its got me intrigued though but i cant charge for it until i know its legit. I dont think it is

I would also be happy to oorganise it as a prize-based community buy since this seems to be very popular if I can get my head around how to do that in a legal way. Again I wouldn't be able to do this until January

Tickets are bought as donations, the items are given as donations I would presume. Although I am no taxman

oi dont know LJS but sorry to hear about your situation- fight the good fight:)

my tuppence worth, rev comps do "prize draws" that ask a question.. so maybe we can have a separate listing that asks a question, (what is better silver or gold :P ) and everyone who answers the question correct is entered in. revcomps uses what is capital of england... wonder if we can get around it that way....? :)

I doht want to risk any jeopardy for forum. I’ve listed on ebay now but will update (lower) prices on here if noone bites.

nobody has a right to buy or sell at their desired level so i’ll let price mechanism do its stuff.

Even if i get bullion level i’ll still be able to happily get wasted on the proceeds or put it all on a big  **** off bet 😀

thanks for all goid wishes and ideas! Her’s hoping for a miracle and i come on here next year as a buyer !

Good luck mate. We're all with you
