Has something like this already been seen on IOM coinage. Hopefully better than that example!

Not a 50p or a birthday coin, nor floral. But basic design

Other than the 75th birthday coin, these are all coins that have already been minted, there was never going to be any new 1p, 2p etc. as they don’t need to mint any more of these at the moment due to numbers held. People will want to collect the first Charles set.

So, why produce more coins?  It doesn't make sense!  And I can't see them being that popular.

I believe all commemorative coins in the Annual Sets typically get their own individual release through the year.

This also reminds me that they had mentioned there would be a definitive set later this year, and I have a sinking feeling they will use the crowned portrait again. 🫤

I think most people are giving it a miss!  But then it will be rare - so maybe I should buy?!

Mate this is the curse of the hobby!  If they did a special reverse everyone would be saying they are milking it but also falling over themselves to buy, if it’s a standard coin less people want it but it might be a dark horse in the future………
