Yes I know just what you mean. Signing up lots of new payees in a small timeframe to your bank account looks like you're either being fleeced by a network of dodgy builders or you've gone mad and are sending money to a harem of Albanian toy boys. Seems that's how banks view things imo. Heaven help anyone who simply wants to invest some of their own money in financially sound precious metals. But squander £100 a week on national lottery tickets? Bank couldn't care less lol.
