Using the term Bin

Recommended Posts

Hi I was wondering if anyone could explain why on some posts about gold or silver for sale they use the term bin about the sale.

Does it mean that you have to buy everything or nothing or is the price very low ?

Hopefully you can answer.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Thank you.

It may be because they listed it using their phone, so typed bin instead of BIN,or even better B.I.N.

"Buy It Now"  I confess I've only ever seen that term used on ebay tbh.  or "Bin" as in 'Binlord'  from this forum,  pertaining to certain scams or scammers masquerading as genuine sales or auctions occurring on ebay.

If the term has another meaning I don't know what it is, apart from 'rubbish bin' of course!  😬

I see it on Facebook a lot. I figured it was just a quick comment so as not to lose out on the purchase. Sometimes 2 or 3 people want to buy the same piece within minutes of the advert being posted
