They probably have “X” amount bought for “Y” and as long as they keep selling them for “Z” they must break even at least.

We are using old links though which they need to disable lol.

I also think they are making so much money on the other overpriced coins it must be working for them

Dose anyone  know if you can use the same card and  email but send to another address ?

Unlikely, I suspect - as in order to process your card payment they will also require the registered billing address for your card......

The Sovereign is the Royal Mints best seller not because they are bought from the Bullion website at above spot price but because the Royal Mint sells to dealers in bulk orders at well under list price. Its a win win for both parties . H & B are still making a profit even at this price 😮

Not sure how anyone can be making a profit selling a coin for less than the materials it contains. And that's without taking in production and marketing costs.

Has anyone tested any of these bargain sovereigns?

Funny thing, I was thinking the same earlier today. In fact I had to order some to do just that😁

True but i would guess they bought a large amount of them and not at the current spot price. I can currently afford to sell all my sovereigns for less than spot and still make a profit. (Nope not selling sorry lol)

Not saying they are making a profit. There’s one thing for certain and that’s that we all know who H&B are now when i had never heard of them 6 months ago!

Please post your findings.

It just seems we are well into "too good to be true" territory.

Factor in the caps and flips, not much I know, but it adds to their costs. Plus do people take coins out of caps for inspection.

i don't trust any bugger, I test both gold and silver. Bought a collection of 8 silver proofs on ebay, turned out 4 of them weren't silver. The seller was pretty good about it though, replied very quickly, and after a few messages we've settled on 6 Austrian silver thalers as a replacement. Not complaining.

Prepare yourself, you know it's a must
Gotta have some Sovs from Bournemouth
So you know that when you buy
They're gonna recommend you proofs that
Rocket to the sky

Never been a stacker. I never stacked
I got a friend in Bournemouth
And I know that when I buy
He's gonna set me up with proofs
Which are gonna fly

All explained in this thread

or you could go old school and buy a sovereign scale for about £30-£35

You can have mine when I get them

That would be great, thanks :)

Congrats on your 5th... wow. I'm jealous 😛 I'll have to wait for another week or so before I can afford another one. Hope it's still available then and the gold price not too crazy.
