Agree - for random/s, most often Atkinsons - but I was not referring to sovereigns, but 2023 1oz British Royal Arms Gold Bullion Coin @ £1548 + £5 D'ly.

I do agree about Tavex sovereigns in general, although their pre-order crowned KC3's were the best until their stock arrived - IIRC.

I agree, but if any coins were of the same cost, I would use Tavex every time.

I for one appreciate their nice presentation, coins in capsules, nice foamed boxing etc, whereas even a big purchase from, just for example:

with Chards, you feel like it's come from Amazon with their annoying little plastic zip-lock slips with their name on one side so you can't even see through it easily all stuffed into a jiffy like its milk money

- just my 2p worth; plus Tavex are very easy to talk most things through with, although to be entirely fair, Chards have helpful staff also.

Yep, it's been a rocky start for these coins but after taking a fresh look at the design I've great confidence they are a real sleeper and will become a very desirable coin/design for future collectors... Best wishes

Completely agree, whilst the higher mintage didn't help, I think they will be sought after in a few years.

Sometimes the case, the QB series, so well released over its 4-5 years and all the premiums fanfare which went with that now seems to be slowly dying down, a good shout, albeit, as you say, a sleeper for now.

Very good point, and I would add the memorial sovereigns are a bit different - QB was a stand-alone series so it only has its own brand to gather and maintain collector interest, it's actually incredible how well it's done despite that. While the memorials are the opposite side of the spectrum being part of, arguably, the most collected gold coin series on the planet, sovereigns, AND being the very last one of Queen Elizabeth. I'd say this doing better in the future is almost a certainty, just a matter of time!
