DK - looks like you you are going for the big coins! Can I ask where you got the 50 pesos coins? Don't see them very often...

Lindeman : I found the 50 peso coins here http://www.tavex.dk/index.php?main=421&productID=1124 they are really nice ones. Like it better then the 1oz gold libertad. But the price has risen too much the past few weeks unfortunately. Wanted some more before the price goes to high ;-)

Buy almost never gold coins below 1 oz, Except some sovereigns now and then :-)

Thanks DK-V. Good site, prices comparable to here in UK. Always fancied a 1 oz gold Lib, but now beginning to think I want a 50 pesos more! Agree with you - 1 oz or full sovereigns, everything else is too fiddly. Although I would not refuse a 2 oz or 1kg gold kangaroo if I was forced to have one..!

Have bought a good amount of coins there, and they allways deliver.

They ship fast, but you will have to ask for a shipping price for the uk. Can make the coins to expensive.

But try to have a look at there silver price, its hopeless :-)

Ill take a 1kg coin to :-D thinking of getting a 2oz when we get a dip in goldprice again.

1887 half crown

This is my first crown, probably last

The design is very nice and it goes along with the 1887 double sov and half sovereigns I have, but it just doesn't seem precious to me.. seems like an old junk coin

Old gold feels special, this old silver hmm not feeling it.

Was only £30 so no big deal

I bought 1kg of old silver coins earlier this month, worked out pretty much right on spot at the time. I was pretty happy with it since I still regard myself as mostly a stacker and it was by far the cheapest way to accumulate ounces. It isn't as exciting as shiny new .999 silver of course so I'll probably leave it alone for a while, as much as I liked adding something different.

Kman have you decided to keep sovereigns without capsule?

I was keeping them all in capsules in a silken style pouch, just thought this would be a nicer way of being quickly being able to have a nice look at them.

They feel a bit more special being in these red cases actually, I think it's a nice presentation  B)
